"Charles Morgan speaking" Charles voice came over the phone on the sixth ring

"You're hard to reach," Nathalie said sarcastically

Charles smiled over the phone he had left his number for her to call when she got up "so...... glad to see that you're alive and well, I thought the shock of it all made you numb and you might have died in your sleep" he heard Nathalie giggle a welcome softness after his encounter with Diana earlier "did the staff take good care of you?" He said as he got up from his meeting and walked to the window so that he could talk in private.

"Oh...yes some lady named Sally gave me an awesome breakfast; I could not even finish all, a far cry from my cold cereal or salami sandwich. It was absolutely wonderful." She stressed "I am rubbing my stomach as we speak"

"Glad to hear, you sound happy at least happier than you seemed yesterday guess some rest was all that was needed. How long did you sleep?" Charles asked

"Way too long. I just had breakfast for lunch; I have not slept like that in like ever maybe in college if I didn't have any classes"

"I am very happy to hear that too, one for Charles for not allowing any wakeup call." He complimented himself on a job well done, then quickly continued as he had to get back to work "On another topic, I had some plans for you today but I have to cancel I should have been here yesterday and some important meetings were canceled so I have to catch up today. So when I got here this morning hoping to get it done and leave I was bombarded with several many things that needed to get done." Charles paused briefly "That being said I think that I will be here for the rest of the day. Sally and Ms. George can get you whatever you need, please feel free to ask and make yourself at home - and early or late I will come to find you when I get in. I don't have your cell number, text it for me so that I can check in on you when I get a breather in-between updates and meetings." He waited to see if Nathalie had anything to say but there was no response so he continued "Also, Jessie will be there today. Doctor James called me and he has arranged for her to be moved from the hospital to our home. I believe Ms. George has been busy setting up a room for her arrival. I hope you don't mind that I made that arrangement." Charles waited for Nathalie to comment before he continued.

Nathalie did not answer for a long while "ahhh....no I guess not; how come is she alright?"

"Yes she is; he is hoping that the different environment might force her out of the coma earlier or faster, something. I was also hoping that you might move in permanently to be closer to her as she recovers." Nathalie did not answer so Charles continued "Until she is better at least, I have to interview some full-time nurses to take care of her - which I am also doing today and Doctor James will be on call 24/7 to ensure that she gets the best care." Nathalie still did not answer "she will get better Nathalie; I will spend every penny I have to make sure of it. I really do think that it is the best thing for both of you to be in a different environment you never know how it might impact you."

"This is so much, so fast. It's not that I am not grateful; I know we need it I am just still cautious you know. What will your mother think of all this?"

"I am responsible for myself Nathalie we are both adults and have been for quite some time, we don't need my mother's permission to make decisions about our life. Don't even think about her; just let me know what you want to do." Nathalie maintained her silence Charles sighed and continued "We can talk about it later tonight. I've asked Stephenson to take you over to your apartment to get anything you might need, or shopping if you want. He has money on hand to get you whatever you need. He should come looking for you as soon as someone lets him know that you're awake. Don't worry ok, and promise me you will think about moving in and will have an answer for me later."
