I give a glance around the room. Monika, Sayori, and Irus are happily chatting.
Yuri and Natsuki are also chatting.
Mac's in his seat, looking pretty tired...
I could just join the rest, but after what happened...
The poem Monika made.
I can't just take it out of my head, I mean, no one would write something like that, being so explicit... Well, it wasn't that explicit, but still, it was pretty obvious for someone like me.
Still, I don't think it could be a problem, for now, I mean, nothing big happened... But, what if I talk to her about that? I mean, we both know the truth... Maybe she is just lost and confused, just like I did a long time ago.
But, I think now I should think about other things. For now, it's just a normal day, in a normal school.
My eyes land on Yuri and Natsuki, once again. They gingerly exchange sheets of paper, sharing their respective poems. As they read in tandem, I watch each of their expressions change: Natsuki's eyebrows furrow in frustration, maybe trying to understand Yuri's writing style... Meanwhile, Yuri smiles sadly, maybe she expected more.
Then, I take a look at Mac, seems like he also was looking at them, as time passes, his expression changes slowly from neutral to worried, and I think I get why...
Natsuki: "Oh? I didn't realize you were so invested in trying to impress our new members, Yuri. Maybe Mac, or... Sam?"
Yuri almost jumps out of the surprise and gives a quick look at me...
This is gonna be big...
Yuri: "E-Eh?! That's not what I...! Uu... You...You're just... Maybe you're just jealous that they appreciate my advice more than they appreciated yours!"
Natsuki: "Huh! And how do you know someone didn't appreciate my advice more? I mean, Irus clearly liked my poem and told me nice things about it, right Irus?"
Irus, who was trying to cover his face with the book, glanced at her nervously.
Irus: "I-I mean, yeah, I liked it, but—"
Natsuki: "See? Are you still that full of yourself now?"
Yuri: "I...! No... If I was full of myself... I would deliberately go out of my way to make everything I do overly cutesy!"
Natsuki: "Uuuuuu...!"
Sayori leaves Monika and walks to the fighting pair, trying to smile.
Sayori: "U-Um!! Is everyone okay...?"
Natsuki: "Well, you know what?! I wasn't the one whose boobs magically grew a size bigger as soon as you brought your little boyfriend into the club!!"
The fu—!?
Yuri and Sam: "N-Natsuki!!"
Monika: "Um, Natsuki, that's a little—"
Natsuki and Yuri: "This doesn't involve you!"
Sam: "Ah, but you can put me and my brother into everything, isn't it?"
Sayori: "I-I don't like fighting, guys...!"
Irus: "Agh! Shut up! Every single one of you!"
Suddenly, the scream of the anger of my brother fills the room, catching our attention.
Irus: "Does anyone actually understands the point of a literature club here? I mean, we are here to share and socialize! We are here to express our love for the literature and share our experiences with others!"
