Chapter 5 - Ride

A U D R I A N N A

Huling araw ng Oktubre at gaya nang inaasahan mayroong party na magaganap. Ang Halloween Party na gaganapin sa aming unibersidad habang nakasuot na ang iyong Halloween costume.

"Good afternoon, Audrianna," binati ako ng isang kakilala noong hapon, sa school.

Ngumiti lang ako pabalik sakanya at nagpatuloy nalang sa paglalakad papunta sa aming classroom. Pagkapasok ko sa loob ay ingay ng mga kaklase ko ang sumalubong sakin. Natanawan ko naman ang mga kaibigan ko at umupo na ako sa aking pwesto.

"Where the hell did you go? Bigla ka nalang umalis without a proper reason why?!" reklamo ni Allana saakin.

"Right. We're tired to even find you sa sobrang bilis mong maglakad hindi kana namin nasundan! Kaya, in the end, we chose to order foods ulit sa canteen!" irap ni Eunice saakin.

"You brought our foods, Audrianna. Nung nagwalk out ka kanina. Naubos mo lahat yon?" tanong ni Adieraine saakin.

Pagod kong pinakinggan ang mga hinaing nila. Pagod ko din silang tinignan isa't isa at nginitian. Ni hindi ko nga rin alam kung bakit ako nagwalk out nalang bigla tapos ganto pa ang reaksyon ko.

"I gave the left over foods to the homeless kids kanina." malumanay kong sabi. They all gave me that unbelievable look. "What can I do?! I can't finish all of it!" depensa ko sa mapanuri nilang mata.

"The fuck are you walking out pa kasi!" singhal ni Allana sakin. After that, our professor went inside our classroom.

The professor stood infront of the room and fixed his eyeglass. He cleared his throat. "Listen up, students! The University will be having a party tonight. It's an Halloween party that'll be held on the field." he said and the classroom turns into a total chaos.

"That's explains why some staffs were decorating the field!" Penelope, my classmate said full of excitement.

"Oh my God, wish they can dismiss us early. So, that I can prepare my costume and all!" Karen said.

"My costume will be very beautiful. And, I must win the best costume!" one of my classmate said, confident.

"Ugh, so noisy. They look like a child who saw a dinosaur for the first time." pagirap ni Allana.

"Dinosaur? Who the hell saw a dinosaur? Of course, that'll be everyone's reaction when they see the dinosaur for the first time because it is very cool and amazing!" Eunice said.

"Oh, Just damn shut up!" singhal ni Allana kay Eunice na agad nanahimik.

The professor cleared his throat again, reason the class went quiet. "We will dismiss all of you today. At this hour so that you can prepare for tonight." he said and smiled. "The event will start at 7 pm until midnight. No alcohols are allowed to the minors. I suggest that you should bring your school IDs. Be on your best behaviour. Class dismissed!" he added and went out the classroom.

"Muntik na akong ma-disappoint nung sabihin ni Prof na bawal ang alcohol. Pero, nabawi agad yung disappointment ko nung sinabi niya na para lang sa mga minors. Kawawa naman mga Juniors." dinig kong humalakhak na sabi ni Tiffany, ang classroom Vice President namin.
