Chapter 3: Wrong idea

Nakahilata lang ako dito sa kama ko for hours. It's already 12 midnight and I should be sleeping by this time. Ang kaso hindi ako makatulog! I tried to study and do my homeworks, na baka sakali makatulog ako after that. But, it's no use at all!

Binuksan ko nalang ang laptop ko at dumapa sa kama. I opened my facebook account, trying to find a way for me to get sleepy.

I saw some facebook posts from my schoolmates, Ace's friends and mine's. I even saw Francis' status.

Francis Zhang: Ikaw ba si Momo? Ang MOMO-o ng buhay ko? Heart reax only.

I rolled my eyes. That's so cheap! He must've stolen the status from the other account. His status had 176 heart reacts and 6 sad reacts, mostly his friends. His supportive friends, of course.

I went to the comment section to comment how corny he is on his status. I read few comments from his friends and others.

Mia Zhang: Kuya, this is so lame. Matulog ka nalang.

Sky Vince Dalton: Omg! Ikaw na yata ang Mister Right ko! I love you, babe!!

Wesley Tan: Bobo, tapusin mo muna yang essay mo bago ka bumanat, tanga!

Adler Jameson Oh: Panis ka sa comment ni Wes, Francis! ^

Ace Garette: You're a toxic in my newsfeed.

Natawa ako sa comment nila Ace at Wesley. This is how they treat each other by joking around.

Audrianna Eulla: Maybe, one of my girlfriends can be the Momo of your life. Mentioning the eldest friend of mine ;)

I commented and started laughing. For sure, Adie will kill me once she sees that! Hell, she has a crush to Francis since in 10th grade.

I was scrolling through my newsfeed when a friend request popped in.

Ace Garette sent you a friend request.

My eyes went wide. I don't know what I am shocked for. It's just a damn friend request that I have to accept.

I accepted the friend request then after a while he sent me a message through facebook.

Ace Garette: Hey, still up?

Audrianna Eulla: Yup. Can't sleep, how 'bout you?

Ace Garette: Same here. Can I call?

I stared at my laptop for few moments after his reply. Call me, right now?! Bakit ba ako kinakabahan? He's just Ace Garette!

Hindi pa ako nakakapag-reply biglang tumunog ang laptop ko. Video call at this hour? Yes! At this hour!

Inayos ko muna ang buhok ko. I don't want to be embarrass because I looked like a mess. I accepted his call after that.
