L E X I

"Alexandra Haart?"

"Yes miss."

It was first period and I had maths, Maddie wasn't in my lesson but neither were my stepbrothers so I was fine with that.

And then he burst through the doors.

"Blayke Carter reporting for Maths Mrs Karlston." He said while saluting her. The whole class burst out into laughter like it was the funniest thing ever. He sat down in his seat and didn't look at me.

"Hey could I borrow a pen?"

I turned around and saw a boy with brown hair and green eyes. He held his hand out asking me the question.

"Sure" I said turning around and getting a pen and giving it to him.

"Thanks...?" He asked.

"Lexi." I answered.

"Thanks Lexi, I'm Lexi." He said. I stared at him in confusion.

"Huh?"

"I meant Leo. Um, this is awkward." He said going red and smiling awkwardly. I laughed and he joined in too. I turned around and carried on with my work when someone from the front threw a piece of paper at me. I opened it up and it said:

"Ew stop moving to my mans sket."

I smiled, her mans? This was too funny. I looked up and saw blondie and her minions glaring at me. I picked up my pen and wrote on the other side,

"And who exactly is your 'mans'?"

I threw it back at her and she didn't catch it and it landed on her desk. She opened it up and let out a sigh and rolled her eyes, writing something on the paper. She threw it back to me and I caught it in the air, she scoffed and I heard her say something to her minions. I opened it up and it said one word. Leo. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe, Leo? I turned around and looked back at Leo.

"Leo?" I said getting his attention.

"Yeah." He replied looking up.

"Are you dating blondie over there?" I said pointing at her, she glared harder at me but smiled and waved when she saw Leo looking at her.

"Vicky? No." He said laughing.

"She's like a sister to me, our mums are friends." He explained. I put the piece of paper down in front of him and turned around. A few seconds later I heard him laughing as well and I smiled to myself.

The bell had just gone for lunch and I went and found Maddie. She was just beginning to tell me about her art lesson when her jaw dropped.

"What?" I asked her turning around. A girl walked in, she looked like Blayke, the same hair, the same eyes, the same dimples when she smiled out at everyone.

"Miss me?"
