"Keep the girl. We don't want her."

Well that wasn't part of the plan.

I watched the girl's face fall when she heard him say that. Poor thing. Probably thought her brothers were going to rescue her.

I'll have a word with Ethan later. By the looks of it he hadn't told the others about his plan.

"No. We are not leaving without her." Sam said.

"Yes we are. Keep her." Ethan said and he started walking away but the twins stopped him and pushed him back.

"Are you seriously doing this?" One of the twins asked. I never knew which one was which.

"Yes. Now come on." He said and starting leaving.

"So you're just going to let us go?" Freddie asked looking at Oscar.

He wouldn't. Of course he wouldn't. Not until he got what he wanted.

"Of course. Go ahead, leave." Oscar said with a smile.

There's something wrong. He doesn't want the boy? He wants the girl for something else.

I looked up at the girl who was looking at everyone sadly and she looked heartbroken.

"What do you want with the girl?" I asked Oscar.

"This girl here is the child of Maria Vasquez."

Maria Vasquez? She was the leader of a massive gang that dealt with drugs. Didn't she die?

"No I'm not my mum's name is Debora!" She yelled out.

"A fake name child. To try and protect you." Oscar said smiling at her cruelly.

"She died. A couple months ago." I said.

"I know that. This child is her only child. Her heir." Oscar said.

That's why he doesn't care if the other boy leaves. But why keep her hostage and wait for the Carters to arrive?

"Well you're not keeping her, my dear." I said smirking.

"What you're going to stop me? You and what army?" He said laughing.

"Oscar are you forgetting I have twice the amount of men that you have. We could kill you, your family, your men and turn this house into ash and rubble." I said.

"You are not getting the girl." He snarled.

I wouldn't be so sure of that hun.

I signalled and my men advanced onto Oscar.

Strange.

He didn't seem to have any weapons.

Then as they got to him and hand Oscar in their hands he pulled something out of his pocket.

A grenade.

"Get back!" I yelled but I knew it would be no use.

I ducked under a table and watched everyone else try and find places for cover.

It would be no use. If he pulled the pin we'd all be dead for sure.

I looked up and saw someone coming to duck under the table with me.

It was the girl, I let her go behind me and we waiting for something to happen.

I heard the pin get pulled out.

Then there was the loudest explosion I'd ever heard.
