Sorry the storyline has been a bit weird this was mostly for fun but I will be carrying on with it! 💗

"You can't keep ignoring us." Jack said.

I shrugged and just put some bread in the toaster.

"Look Lexi it's been a week now come on." Blayke said.

I got took my toast out and just left the house slamming the door. My toast was actually really hot and I held it with my teeth as dusted the crumbs off my hands. I started walking to school while eating and on my phone.

"Hey watch out!" I jumped as someone yelled from behind me, dropping my toast.

"You almost walked into that tree." I looked and in front of me was a tree. I should've paying attention to where I was walking. I turned around and said thanks before walking again.

"Wait you don't remember me?" He said.

"No sorry." I said turning around and looking at him properly this time. He seemed familiar but I didn't know from where.

"I'm Mason. I'm in your math class." He said smiling.

"Ohhhhh." I said remembering.

"Well come on then Dory." He said walking.

"Dory?" I asked.

"Like the fish. You know? The blue one with short term memory loss." He explained.

"Oh that one." I said nodding.

"So are you alright?" He asked.

"I'm fine." I said.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Well I'm here if you ever want to talk." He said smiling. His eyes twinkled in the sunlight.

"Thanks." I said and was about to take a bite of my toast when I noticed it wasn't in my hand.

"Where's my toast?" I said looking around.

"Why were you carrying toast?" Mason said laughing.

"I woke up late." I lied. We both looked around but still couldn't see it.

"It's alright. A bird will probably eat it." Mason said.

"True." I said nodding.

"Do you want to skip today?" He asked.

"Sure what lessons?" I asked.

"No I mean like not go in at all." Mason said.

I thought about it for a bit. It's not like anyone would care anyway right. I've skipped so many lessons lately and I don't even know why.

"Sure." I said.

"Yay!" He said looping his arm in mine. I looked at him blankly as he laughed.

"Follow me." He said running off laughing.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I ran. Mason wasn't that fast but he wasn't that slow either. I maintained a comfortable pace as I ran.

"It's a surprise." He said looking back and smiling with that same twinkle in his green eyes.

We ran until we got to a field covered in yellow.

"Is that a sunflower field?" I said smiling. It looked beautiful.

"Yep it's my uncle's." He said climbing over the fence.

"Are we allowed to go in right now?" I asked.

"Yeah it's fine he lets me come here all the time." He said. I climbed over and sat on the fence looking at all the flowers. It was really breathtaking.

"It's beautiful isn't it." He said looking at it.

"It really is." I said smiling. My mum loved sunflowers. We ran through a line and I smiled so hard my cheeks hurt.

"Do you want a drink or anything? I can ask my uncle." He said as we walked.

"Yeah thanks." I said as we walked towards the barn. There was a couple sitting next to each other and eating as they looked at the field.

"Hey Uncle Andy!" Mason called out.

"Mason are you bunking again." He called out laughing at him.

"Absolutely not! I can't believe you ever thought I would." He said smiling as they hugged.

"And who's this lovely girl." His aunt said smiling warmly at me.

"This is Lexi. Lexi this is my uncle Andy and aunt Kate." Leo said introducing me.

"Pleasure to meet you." Andy said holding out his hand. I smiled and shook it.

"So what do you think of the sunflower field?" Kate asked.

"It's beautiful." I said looking back at it again.

Today had been great. Mason was really nice and we hung out for the rest of the day. Right now it was 5 o'clock and I was about to come home. I can't believe it's actually been that long. I was about to knock on the door when it swung open.

"Where have you been." Ethan said frowning at me.
