The rain eventually began dying down.
Dib had been waiting with Zim under the roof edge for the rain to stop, since it would basically kill Zim and he felt like he had to stay and keep him company after that break down.
Dib had given the offer to allow Zim to cover up with his jacket so the rain wouldn't harm the alien, but the hole that had been made by the Irken's tear was a problem. So they waited, talking about Dib's geeky interests and Zim ranting on about Gir and how he's probably making a huge mess in the house that Zim had to angrily clean up.

Once the rain completely died down, the sun slowly began coming out again.
"Finally!!! Zim can go home now and REST. I am TIRED!"
Zim and Dib stood from where they sat, the human dusting himself off from the dirty grass.
"Uh Zim, you cant go home like that. You don't have your disguise."

Zim gasped loudly, looking back where he previously threw his contacts and wig that were now dirtied with mud and grass. He stared at the two accessories, spacing out in thought. His lips began to recoil slowly. His hands became tight fists and he whipped his head to face Dib, anger filled in his eyes, "I see what you were doing."

Dib's eyes furrowed in genuine confusion, and he stepped back to be cautious from the furious alien, "I don't know what you're talking about...?"
Zim flushed a dark green, nearly smoking from the heat that rose to his green face. His magenta eyes seemed to darken and his scowl grew, sharp teeth fiercely showing, "DONT act stupid with me, Dib! I realized what you've been trying to do. Don't fool me! You...you..."
The fuming alien emphasized the last "you" with betrayal and what seemed to be pure anger.
Dib stuttered out of anxiousness, feeling completely puzzled and oblivious of why Zim was so worked up.

"You did all this to expose me, huh? I can't leave without a disguise and now you're gonna expose me to EVERYONE HUH?!"
Zim unleashed long metal spider-like legs from his pak, now towering over the human. Dib's eyes widened with shock at the fact that Zim was using such a tool outside where people may see them. He stepped back again, knowing he's in trouble.
"What!? No! I wasn't planning on anything-!"

"OH SHUT IT! You PLANNED THIS. You embarrassed me! I opened up to you...these stupid...defective...emotions..." Zim lowered his gaze for a second, a flash of disgust and hurt on his irken features but soon turned back to the aggrieved expression he had on, "Zim's going to destroy you. I'm going to kill you- who made you think you can ignore ME. AND THEN EMBARRASS ME. Make me feel like I belong AND TRICK ME"

"ZIM LISTEN TO ME, FOR FUCKS SAKE-"
Dib stomped towards him, reaching up to grab a hold of the alien's shirt with his fists and pulled him down harshly, their faces now inches apart.
"I'm not trying to embarrass you. If I was going to expose you why wouldn't I have already?! How the fuck was I supposed to know what happened to you during that week you were absent?? I didn't know you were gonna fucking breakdown in front of me. Even if I wanted to out you to everyone, I wouldn't during such a situation! I'm more mature now, Zim. Unlike you, I have common sense okay? So calm the fuck down so I can come up with a way to get you home without anyone seeing you. Fuck."
He let go of his grip on Zim's shirt, causing the alien to stumble back with a dumbfounded look. Zim's face flushed darker but he recovered from the shock, now with his arms crossed, "fine...Zim will trust you I guess- I'm keeping an eye on you, though, Dib-stink. Don't trick me again, I'll actually kill you next time."
The metal legs returned back into the pak, and Zim stood again at his short height with his arms crossed.
Dib gave him a serious expression and crossed his heart, "I won't, Zim. I've already told you I'm over that. Don't worry okay? You'll be fine." His voice softened at the end, making sure he sounds as genuine as possible. He really didn't want to anger the alien again, and he's not planning on betraying Zim. He has no plans on getting into such a mess.
Zim's eyes glanced downwards and he bit his lip with sharp teeth, wondering why he felt...safe? He bit his lip harder to somehow stop the emotions going through him from hearing Dib's reassuring words and scoffed to cover up his feelings, "yeah that's right! Humans give up so easily...I guess this means- Zim won!!!"

Dib rolled his eyes in a joking way, deciding its best to play along.
"Sure, Zim"

Hearing this, Zim let out a loud evil laugh.
Dib couldn't help a huge smile, finding it oddly relieving that Zim was acting like his old self. He watched as Zim's mouth grew larger with his wicked smile, his sharp teeth in full view. He found it impossible to tear his eyes away from Zim.

Zim's laughter died down and he let out snickers and giggles now, "good. AnYWAYS!!! How will I get home?"
