A few seconds later, the mysterious archer disappeared without a trace.
...
Everyone involved in the battle were ordered to the infirmary to get body checks. Some were allowed to leave almost immediately, while some needed to stay for the next few days.
Alabama was on one of the beds, staring helplessly at the window. She was overwhelmed by the pain caused by the 12 vaccines that the nurse injected onto her thigh. Apparently, she got bitten by one of the werewolves Friction flung away with that trident.
Friction, who only got a handful of stratches, sat beside Alabama, who was whining about how much it hurt and no hot guy was there to save her.
The TV at the end of the room blabbered restlessly, clashing with the voices of whining teenage girls inside the infirmary.
"Just as one of our newbies attacked the other side with a strong beam of light, an arrow broke the light!" narrated the brunette reported from earlier enthusiastically.
"That blonde was one of the students?" said Ingy in disbelief, who broke her arm and was sitting right next to the TV.
"When we look closely, we can see that the shooter of the arrow looks extremely similar to The Mysterious Archer, who appeared in multiple occasions lately to stop injustice!"
The reporter passed the microphone to that girl who lended her trident to Friction. The name "Marina Sparta Jackson" popped up at the bottom left of the screen.
"You looked utterly shocked at the sight of him, Miss. Jackson." said the reporter, "Do you know him?"
"He... he's Apollo, my ex lover!"
"Hm... interesting," the reporter sang, "the original one, or the one from Percy Jackson?"
"Percy Jackson, that's my brother..."
"Um... very well." responded the reporter, looking at her suspiciously.
After that Marina girl wasn't on the screen, the reporter went up to the brunette Asian girl who wasn't participating in the fight.
"Hello there," sang the reporter.
The name "Sato Yui" popped up the the bottom left corner of the screen.
"What's your name?" asked the reporter.
"Yui. Sato Yui." replied the doe eyed girl sweetly.
"So, Yui... why weren't you participating in the fight?"
"I don't do the dirty work. In my homeland, it's usually the men who do all the fighting." she said dreamily, "besides, I don't think anything in the fight is worth fighting for."
"Ah, I see. Thank you for your time, Yui." said the reporter.
"No problem."
"EXCUSE ME?" boomed Ingy, "I thought she's my friend!"
The woman in red lipstick who gagged the werewolves from earlier came up and gave her a pat in the back. "She thinks she's all that..." she sighed.
The entire room stared at the two, weren't they the best of friends?
