Chapter 36: Going Back

(A bit of a time skip.)

Narrator's POV

Taking a breather, Jungkook leaned against the warm body behind him. He felt a pair of arms securely wrapped around his torso and he melted in his embrace. Both of them were exhausted. So far, it had been a busy week for both of them. With graduation and the wedding planning, they were spent.

Jungkook closed his eyes as he rested his head on Jimin's chest and let out a small yawn.

"I'm so tired," Jungkook whined.

"Same," Jimin also yawned.

"Who knew planning for a wedding would be this much effort?" he added.

"Not me," Jungkook mumbled.

With a sigh, he opened his eyes and stared into space.

"I can't believe we already graduated," Jungkook said, slightly surprised at how fast time passed.

"I know. It felt like yesterday we graduated high school," Jimin chuckled.

Memories of their high school graduation came to their mind and a small smile appeared on both of their faces.

"That day was fun."

"Yeah. I remember we celebrated until 6 am," Jimin said, making both of them laugh.

"Remember our graduation picture?" Jungkook laughed.

"Yeah. You were Conan and I was Mickey Mouse."

"Remember the couple picture we took together? You were embarrassed when I kissed you on the cheek."

"Hey! You surprised me, that's all," Jimin defended himself.

"You went red as a tomato."

Jimin pouted at the memory. He remembered everyone teasing him because of that. Let's just say all of the others teased him every time they saw him and Jimin accidentally exploded.

As silence enveloped both of them, Jungkook fiddled with Jimin's fingers as he got lost in his thoughts.

"Have you finished everything with Mrs Park?" he asked the older.

"Not quite. We still have to sort out some details. But other than that we're nearly there. How about you?"

"I'm finished. My dad is flying to Korea next week and his wife is also coming. I also invited friends from college, so all those small details are also done. Mum already bought the suits and booked the place. Did you know Yoongi hyung is going to play the organ in our wedding?" Jungkook said as he tilted his head to see his fiancé.

"Really? How did that happen?"

"I asked him to and he said yes."

"What? I asked him but he declined."

"Well at least we both know who he likes more," Jungkook cheekily said, making Jimin tickle him.

"Whatever," he rolled his eyes.

"You're just jealous because everyone loves me," Jungkook stuck his tongue out at him.

Jimin first pouted but it soon turned into a smile.

"Well I don't blame them, you're also my favourite," he winked at him, making Jungkook's heart clench.

Suddenly, Jungkook sat up straight, making Jimin retract his arms. Before he could register what was happening, Jungkook pushed Jimin so he was laying on the sofa. Surprising Jimin even more, he went on top of him, pinning his arms down with a smile on his face. Jimin just blinked at him, not able to process what was happening.
