Chapter 26: Cliché is fine

Jungkook's POV

My eyes fluttered open as the sunlight blinded me. It took a few moments for me to come to my senses and when I did, I noticed a weight on top of me. When I realised who it was, I unconsciously smiled. He must have fallen asleep after me.

I wrapped my arms around his waist before I turned to my side and carefully placed him beside me. Without thinking, I pulled him closer to me and ended up cuddling with him for warmth. As I was still sleepy, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep again. But as I did, I didn't miss Jimin tightening his hold on me.

As I opened my eyes, I was met with two eyes. I blinked as my eyes adjusted to the light and that was when I realised that Jimin was staring at me. From his face, I could tell he woke up a while ago. Has he been staring at me ever since he woke up? At the sudden thought, I started blushing and I pressed my face into his chest out of embarrassment. I heard him chuckle slightly and that made me feel warm inside.

"Morning," he whispered.

"Morning," I said as I let out a small yawn.

As I looked up at him, I saw the way he was looking at me.

"Why do you keep staring at me?" I whined.

"Because you're beautiful," he said and I heard how genuine he was.

"Stop it," I whined at him as he laughed.

It became silent as we just laid there.

"Things got out of hand yesterday," he said as he smiled, breaking the silence.

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

"But hyung, why do you keep saying I'm seducing you? I didn't even do anything," I pouted.

"That means you just being there makes my heart race and all I wanna do is kiss you," he said which caught me off guard.

"Ah hyung!"

As I protested, he pulled me closer to him and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"If I'm taking it too fast, tell me, okay?" he suddenly told me out of consideration..

I nodded and smiled at his consideration for me.

"Wait a minute. If we fell asleep last night, then that means I didn't brush my teeth. Ah I feel soo dirty," I frowned at him as the thought suddenly dawned on me.

He rolled his eyes at me.

"That won't stop me from kissing you," he smirked before leaning in.

Out of reflex, I covered my mouth with my hand.

"You are not kissing me," I told him.

"What's gonna stop me?" he retorted.

He pulled my hand away before his lips came near mine and slowly pressed onto mine. He didn't even wait before sticking his tongue in my mouth. That surprised me. Before I knew it, the kiss started heating up and when we parted I looked at him.

"Hyung. It's morning, we should stop," I gave him a small smile as the heat crept to my cheeks.

He looked at me before he gave me a beautiful smile.

"You're right."

Although we said that, he didn't let go of me and we stayed in our position. Our legs were tangled together as my head rested on his chest. His arms were wrapped around me and I felt warm.

"When do you want to get up?" I lazily asked him.

"Probably when we both feel hungry," he grinned.
