Narrator's POV

The soft snores of the two boys filled the silent room as the sun shone through, indicating it was morning. Disturbing that peacefulness, the alarm started ringing. Sensitive to noise, Jimin was the first one to open his eyes. He spaced out, his mind still not into the real world.

As his vision started focusing, he realised his face was squashed against something soft. He saw a t-shirt. Huh? He then he felt it move. When he heard the soft breathing, he realised the t-shirt was actually Jungkook. Still trapped in Jungkook's arms from the previous night, Jimin's eyes widened. Wait, what?

Confused on what happened, Jimin's mind wandered to the events before he fell asleep. When he remembered, the blush crept all the way from his neck to his soft cheeks.

As he became a blushing mess, Jungkook opened his eyes after hearing the constant blaring of the alarm. Jimin was too deep in his own world to realise Jungkook was awake. Jungkook noticed Jimin's flushed face and couldn't help but release a laugh. Jimin felt the vibrations emitting from Jungkook's chest, which he was still huddled against, and looked up. As a result, Jimin felt more embarrassed after hearing the beautiful sound from Jungkook.

After his laughter died down, Jungkook pulled Jimin closer for warmth.

"Morning hyung," he mumbled into Jimin's hair.

When Jimin heard the husky voice escape from the younger's mouth, he went even more red.

"M-morning Kookie," he whispered, scared that his voice would crack from nervousness.

He cleared his throat before sitting up.

"Come on the alarm has been going off for a while now, we should get ready for school," he said, proud that his voice didn't waver.

Jimin stumbled out of bed as Jungkook slowly sat up, yawning as he watched the older leave. He shook his head at the older as he climbed out of bed with a small smile on his face.

They both ate a small breakfast before they left the house to go to school. The walk there wasn't awkward or quiet. Jimin tried to push the events of yesterday and the morning to the back of his head so he would act normally in front of Jungkook instead of busting into a pink mess.

In homeroom, Jimin tried to not look at Jungkook as much. Being at such a close proximity with the younger made him nervous.

He didn't know what to do. He tried being himself, but every single time the younger looked at him with those big doe eyes of his or wore that adorable crinkled eye smile his heart palpitated and he would end up in a pink mess. Jungkook didn't notice the times when Jimin's eyes wandered to his face and focused on his features. He was too engrossed in his artwork to notice. However, he did notice that whenever he looked up at Jimin, his eyes would quickly dart away. He raised an eyebrow at his weird behaviour, but decided to shrug it off.

School went on as usual. Jungkook attended his classes peacefully, without any disruption. He started feeling more happy in Chemistry as no one bullied him any more due to everyone not wanting to mess with Yoongi and his other popular friends. Yoongi had a reputation of being scary and intimidating due to his cold expression that he always wore on his face or the snarky comments he made to everyone who annoyed him. However, he never had that expression in front of Jungkook because he absolutely adored the kid, which is why it didn't take a genius to realise that if anyone did hurt Jungkook, they would have to answer to Yoongi. From that, everyone decided to stop. Because of that, Jungkook started enjoying Chemistry.

They all hung out at break, like they usually did, the only difference was the curious gaze that was on Jimin and Jungkook every five minutes. Jin was itching to find out all the juicy details and secrets to why they both acted soo different compared to before. He was waiting for the right moment to pounce and extract that information from them.
