Wei Ying scoffed slightly. Did he...Just...order him around? Again? For what had to be the millionth time? What was it with him and being ordered around as though he were nothing more than a mere beast under their feet? Even more so, what was with them just assuming that he would blindly follow these orders? (though Wei Ying was following said orders so he supposed he was not really helping himself and his inner argument with himself in that respect) He was tired of being ordered about and told what to do and what to not do and what he was allowed. Jiang Cheng was enough, this was getting ridiculous. Though perhaps he was being a bit dramatic, a the other had only told him to follow.

"Master Sizhui," Wei Ying whispered conspiratorily to the one beside him. The other had swiftly come to his side once Lan Wangji had snatched his robes in a fit of shock and probably no less than sheer anger. Though Wei Ying was not really all that great at reading the emotions from the other, he was certain that it was either anger, annoyance, or perhaps a bit of fear.

"Yes?" Sizhui replied, in his customary calm and soothing voice. Sizhui, well...Wei Ying felt calm around Sizhui. He felt the fear flow off of him when Sizhui was around. Though he doubted that Sizhui would be able to fight anyone that would come for him, he still felt this benign feeling of comfort when he was with Sizhui, or when Sizhui spoke. It was like his voice had some sort of magical power. He was comfortable around the other in a way that was foreign to him at most times. The other held this calm aura about him that Wei Ying felt comforted by, even if he did not want to be comforted. It could not be helped when he was around Sizhui. Lan Wangji, this other one who Sizhui had professed to know, that suddenly rushed at him...Wei Ying felt too much with that young master. It was not the calm soothing aura that Sizhui had either. He had not even known the fear of a person, not until the other rushed at him as though he were nothing. He terrified Wei Ying, and Wei Ying had been scared of no human, just those bloody, beastly dogs. He hated dogs more than he hated anything else, besides Jiang Cheng. Yet...That fear, which Lan Wangji had managed to arise in him...It was so foreign and yet, so hopelessly familiar to him. It was terrifying in its own way. He did not want to deal with such things anymore. The fear. The terror. He did not particularly like it and he really hoped that he would be cured of this sooner rather than later.

"Who is he?" Wei Ying asked softly. He did not want this person to hear him and then...who knows what he would do to Wei Ying when he heard that he was speaking of him behind his back. Wei Ying shuddered inwardly at the sheer amount of possibilities. Sizhui, however, he just sighed. Long and deep.

"How long were you under the Jiang Clan's rule?" Sizhui asked curiously, though tentatively. It was rude, Sizhui knew it, but he could not help the words from leaving his mouth. He knew that it was...that it was...Oh, it was beyond rude, and yet, as usual, his curiosity got the best of him. He simply wanted to know, and in this desire, the words left his mouth undesired. it was something that Lan Wangji had reprimanded him for many times over, and yet nothing seemed to be able to curve that instinct and desire to just know what was going on. His curiosity as of yet was untamed.

"I..." Wei Ying looked away, staring now at Lan Wangji's figure as he walked away. The other did not glance back once, simply trusting that they would follow. Expecting it of them. Curse him...They had followed without question when the other ordered it...

Among the clans they are the ones capable of such morality...obedience to their will becomes almost natural...as though they were too pure for the rest of the mortal realm...

Wei Ying sighed heavily. Sizhui had done so much for him. He wished that he was able to answer this question, but that was the problem, was it not? Questions? Times? He knew nothing of those. How could he answer the other without knowing them? It was impossible.

"Unfortunately, Master Sizhui, while I would love to answer your questions, I am...unable...to do so. The Jiang clan had held me for so long that I...I cannot remember how long I was there. I do not remember much of my time before the Jiang clan. Other than memories which pass by as flashes, and hopes, I know very little."

"Do you at least know...your date of birth?"

"Of course, it would be ludicrous to not know such things!" Wei Ying yelped, scandalized. Though, Wei Ying supposed that he could understand why the other would ask such a question. It was acceptable. He really could not remember much before the Jiang clan, and that which he did remember he had desperately wished that he would not remember, yet he was stuck remembering for who knows how long. Perhaps, eventually, they would wipe his memories and therefore he could start over. It would be a dream, but, that was so helplessly unlikely. He would have to make do with what he was able...despite whether he liked it or not.

"You must have been under the Jiang clan for a long time. That is Lan Wangji. Commonly known as the Second Jade Master Childe. He is known for being cold, and mysterious. Not much is really known of him, even within the Lan clan. Other than the fact that his cultivation is incredibly high. I would not recommend starting something with him, Wei Wuxian. It would lead to bad things. Master Lan Wangji is frightening and big upon enforcing the rules. Plus you never know what he is thinking.
