Four Seasons
Light breaks through the clouds
in London, as lazy blooms
spring forth from their beds.
In Belfast, people
drink and chatter in the parks;
some are wearing shorts.
Autumn comes, and leaves
a warm smile on faces at
the Edinburgh fringe.
The wind brought snow, yet
Cardiff comes alive with cheers;
here’s to the new year.
