You see me cheerful, you see me gay,
But I can tell you, it's not always that way,
What you see is the show, you see the facade,
I seem bright like a star, the sun even but that is not always the case,
For my image portrayed needs to be refaced.
For I am covered in a disguise,
That I wish to no longer hide,
It's time to unmask my mask,
And show the truth for you to recognize,
That I'm not alright, that I'm not okay,
On your typical weekday,
That's it, for my sake, I will no longer fake it,
It's time to show the bile,
I think Ariana said it best, "fuck a fake smile".
