Happiness?
Where are you?
I've been searching for you but to no avail,
Were playing an endless game of hide and seek,
And I am yet to find your trail,
I'm rather visited by sadness, misery and pain,
And now even anxiety knows my name.
Happiness?
I've longed to find a friend in you,
Instead, I'm befriended by deceit, manipulation and sweet melancholy,
Even your twin, your polar opposite, unhappiness pays me several treats,
But not meeting you has me defeat.
Happiness?
I'm through with the games,
I'm through with you not meeting me based on my claims,
Happiness?
Won't you knock at my door?
That's all,
Happiness?
Won't you please pick up my call?
Happiness?
I long to experience life with you.
Happiness?
I'm here waiting until you're ready for me
Happiness?
Please do, answer my call.
