He gave me pink feels,
Warm and tingly on the inside,
But on the outside? It wasn't real,
For it wasn't reciprocated,
I was devastated,
So frustrated,
For his pink feels had me on a high,
Medicated.
These pink feels became dark
As I came to the realization of my clouded judgement,
For my heart had taken over the role of my brain and my mind,
He used to colour my insides,
But as of now, they're dull.
What was this pastel hue of pink,
Is now as black as ink.
This isn't anger or resentment,
But rather a triumph,
For I've fallen out of this
Unrequited love.
