Omkara ran towards the temple as soon as the rain started. Reaching the stairs he decided that he wouldn't go inside. A man who was already drenched in the agony of his life does not need to save himself from rain. He sat on the stair.
Gauri was still sitting on the stairs. She didn't want to be saved from the rain. At least the raindrops could wash her tears if not her agony. That's when she saw a man running towards the temple. She thought he would go inside. But to her surprise he didn't. Now she was feeling insecured. After her last experience she did not want any man near her. She saw him shaking. Maybe he is not used to getting drenched like this. She decided to go near that jatadhari man. Just then she heard his scream and realised he had cried out in pain. She quickly went to him.
"What are you doing here?" she asked meekly. After all she was Gauri who couldn't see anyone's pain no matter what. He did not respond. She decided to ask something again.
"Who are you?"
"I don't know" he replied this time.
"What are you saying? See,it's raining heavily. Go home. Your family must be worried"
"I don't have any family."
"But...
" You don't need to worry about me. You go home. I don't need any stranger by my side. Just go home." he screamed.
"I don't have any home"This time Omkara looked at that girl. And he saw an angel but maybe a hurt one. She was so beautiful yet so pained. She sighed. Why did she say she didn’t have any home? Maybe she too was like him. Broken. He kept silent. Even Gauri didn't speak after that
They sat there for hours. Getting drenched in the rain but neither one talked. There was only one sound. The sound of the raindrops....
"Where are you Om?" Shivaay screamed out loud. His brother had been missing for the past six hours and they could do nothing about it. The great SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI was unable to save his own brother from pain and he claimed to protect everyone in the family. He banged his fist on the table while Rudra cried silently sitting in a corner of Shivaay's study. Omkara was nowhere to be found and on top of that this rain was not stopping. There was waterlogging everywhere. Where was his O?
"I don't know anything Khanna. Just go and fu*king find him!" Shivaay barked at Khanna who was trembling by now seeing his boss so angry. Shivaay Singh Oberoi for for the first time in years felt fear creep in his heart. What if Omkara went there again? What m if he relapsed into drugs. No,that could not happen. Om had promised him that he would never go there again. And Omkara Singh Oberoi never breaks his promises. Yet Shivaay couldn’t help feeling that extreme fear and tension. He silently sent a prayer for his brother to be safe.
The rain had stopped. The sun had risen too. They both were still sitting there in silence, not even looking at each other's face. Suddenly heard the screeching sound of tires. She looked at that direction and saw not only one but six cars standing there in a row. She felt confused. Why are so many cars here? She saw one of the cars' door opening and a man wearing a black suite running out. Behind him was a man wearing a simple and a jeans pant winch was torn. They have so many cars and they look rich! Still he is wearing torn pants? They both ran towards that wird jatadhari man.
Shivaay and Rudra ran towards Omkara and hugged him tightly. He was drenched from head to toe. Rudra ended up sobbing badly hughing his O tightly. On the other hand Shivaay slapped Omkara hard.
"How dare you!?" he shouted.
"I am sorry Shivaay." whispered feeling ashamed. He knew his brothers would die without him. Still he lect them like that. Shivaay however hugged him tightly and let a few tears drop. It had taken him another three hours to find his Om. His phone was unreachable and they couldn't track his car. Finally Khanna found out that someone had seen his car coming here. They had searched whole Mumbai. They led their brother towards the car and the three of them headed to home.Gauri stood there watching everything with a shocked expression. What just happened? Are rich people mad or what? The first 'pagal' had ran away from home and the second 'pagal' found his brother after a long time and slapped him instead of showing love and the third 'pagal' was doing nothing but crying. They all are 'pagals'. Are all the people like this in Mumbai? Gauri chose not to think about this much. She decided to change her clothes. The visitors would be coming. She should ask them a bit about this city. She has to find a job. After all Gauri Kumari Sharma has never learnt to give up.
