Chapter 14

"Who is this Gauri?" Tej was the first one to speak.
Omkara looked at him with red angry eyes.
"Don't you dare take her name with that filthy mouth of yours!"
"Oh just cut the crap. Tell me who she is!"
"Gau...Gauri works in my bakery. She is my...my employee." Anika said knowing very well how Tej would react.
"What the hell! My son loves a cheap bakery worker? Never! You are not going to marry her."
"You have lost the rights of taking the decisions of my life,Me.Oberoi." Omkara said angrily.
Omkara angrily stormed to his room. Rudra and Shivaay went behind him while Tej called Svetlana.
"Hello,Svetlana. There is a girl named Gauri in Anika's bakery. I want to know everything detail about her."
"No,I know nothing about her other than her name and that she works in Anika's bakery. Find out everything about her."

Shivaay and Rudra entered Om's room only to see he was in the washroom. They decided to wait until he comes out.

Om came out after having a shower only to be engulfed in a bone crushing hug by his brothers. Omkara smiled in the hug.
"Why did you leave,O? We were dying without you." Cried Rudra
"I am sorry,Rudy." Omkara said breaking the hug.
Shivaay spoke up this time,"How did you...you know...
"Fall for Gauri?" Omkara said.
"Yeah."
"Actually I met her during my stay outside and we became friends and that's how...." Omkara trailed off.
"Where were you living?"
"Umm...ahem...your penthouse."
That earned a gasp from his brothers.
"What?!"
"Yeah." Om nodded.
Shivaay smacked him this time.

After Shivaay and Rudra left him to take rest,Omkara drowned himself in deep thoughts. He was not sure if he truly loved Gauri but he did have feelings for her. And he just told his family that he loved her. Is that right? He must speak to Gauri.

Two days later...

Oberois were having dinner. Shivaniru were as usual pestering Omkara to propose Gauri. Since the moment they had come to know that him and Gauri were not in a relationship and he was just in one-sided love they had been nagging him to propose to her while he was being shy. Anika suddenly received a call and saw it was Saumya.
"Anika bhabi,did Gauri do leave the Barry? She hasn't reached yet." Said a panicked Saumya.
"What? But she left a long time back. She was supposed deliver a cake on her way back. Let me check and inform you." Said Anika and cut the call.
That's when Anika received a call from her bakery,"Hello."
"Ma'am. A woman had called. She said she found a girl on the street who met with an accident. She was holding a packet of our bakery. Our number was on that packet and that's why she called our bakery. Gauri was supposed to go. Can...can it be..." Abhishekh trailed off with a chocked voice and Anika already had watears in her eyes scaring everyone else.
"Where did she call from?"
"City hospital."

Cutting the call Anika hurriedly got up as she said,"Shivaay,Om we have to go to City hospital. Rudra, inform Saumya."
"Anika,what's wrong?" Shivaay asked who also got up with her.
Anika did not respond and left quickly. Everybody followed her confused.

Sitting in the car Anika told them everything that happened.
"No...it's not Gauri." said Omkara.
"Om, hold yourself." Shivaay kept a hand on his shoulder.
"No Shivaay. It's not my Gauri. It can't be! I am sure."
Everyone understood Omkara is not  stable right now.
