Love In The Raindrops (Slow Updates)

Chapter 7

Omkara grasped her hand tightly as the rain poured over them. The doe eyes kept staring at him. She tried to move but he held her hand firmly. He wouldn't let her go.

"Om....Om,wake up!" somebody shook him. Omkara woke up startled. What is happening? He was going to home with Anika bhabi.
"You fell asleep in the car. Now get down. We have reached," came Anika's voice. Nodding he got out of the car.

Omkara entered his room. Strange!
For some reason his room felt empty. He never felt anything is missing in his room but today he thinks that everything is incomplete.  Shaking his head he went towards his cupboard to take his kurta and towel and other stuff. He needs a shower. He is getting such weird thoughts due jet lag.

Standing under the shower Omkara thought about that weird girl. What was she saying? Crazy!!! Still he could not stop thinking anout her. She had done something to him. Her weird talks did amaze him! Her doe shaped eyes,her button nose and her innocent face. But can he ever think anout any girl nicely after Riddhima betrayed him so brutally?

Omkara came downstairs and saw a petite figure entering the mansion. On cliser observation he realised it was the girl from bhabi's bakery. Moving towards her he asked,"What are you doing here?"
"Hum Anika madam se milna chahte hai," she said timidly. Gauri had been extremely embarrassed in front of him after what she did in the bakery. She thought he is madam's old lover. Her crazy thoughts would surely kill her one day!

"Arre Gauri!" Anika spoke from behind.
"Yes,madam. Actually Mr.Ahuja had come for some contract. He gave me these papers and asked me to give them to you," said Gauri showing a file.
"Oh! Okay. I will check them after the pooja," said Anika.
"Okay. I will come back later." Gauri was turning around to keave when Anika said,"No no no no no...you stay. I will participate in the pooja and then check the files. Om,you please accompany her," saying this Anika left
"Come. Let's sit somewhere, " Omkara said awkwardly. He doesnbt even know her and he has to spend time with her!!!
"Won't you participate in the pooja?"
"Umm....that pooja is for couples and I am absolutely and very very much single!" he tried to joke but the girl didn't understand it. She just nodded. Why did he try to joke? That's not his habit. He is not a person with a good sense of humour. Then why? Omkara led her to his room as the pooja will be in the hall and she might feel awkward among so many unknown people. So he should be with her.
"She should be with a close one right now," he muttered to himself and then stopped abruptly. When did he become her close one? Omkara was sure he had gone absolutely mad!!!!
"Did you say something?" Gauri asked.
"No..no. Not at all!"

I know it's short. Just give me some time. I will give a long update. Until then keep imagining what will happen when Gauri goes to Omkara's room. Tell me in the comments.
