Chapter 18

Gauri had packed her bags and was about to call Saumya. She can't take these alone. Sitting on a chair in the corner of the room she was about to call Saumya when she felt her phone being taken away and thrown at a corner. She looked up at Omkara to see him fuming.
"You want to leave?" He asked in a cold yet angry voice. Gauri nodded slowly. But she screamed out aloud when she felt him picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. She hadn't expected this at all. Rudra,who was watching all this silently till now gasped.
"O!What are you doing!?" Rudra exclaimed. Omkara didn't reply to this and started going out of the room. Rudra followed him saying,"O,be careful. She is not well. She might get hirt." That's when Omkara realised that his hold was too tight and it might even hurt her. He set her down as then picked her up again. This time in bridal style while Gauri gasped aloud.

He entered his bedroom with Gauri in his arms. He placed her on the green recliner and whispered in her ears,
"You can't go. I won't let you."
After that he left and locked the door from outside. Gauri ran to the door and started banging. She had to leave. She can't live here after of that humiliation!

Night
Omkara entered his bedroom with a plate of food in his hand. He saw Gauri sitting on the recliner like a statue.
"I am sorry," he whispered slowly.
She did not amswe.
"Please,have your food. You have to take medicines too. He placed a spoon near her mouth when she spoke.
"Why are you doing this?" her voice was pained and Om felt his heart breaking at that.
"Please, try and understand. I can't let you go with this condition. I need to take care of you!"
"I am grateful for whatever you have don for me but I can't stay. Do you want me to be humiliated?" Finally the years she was holding fell and Omkara felt like he was shattering seeing her tears.
"I promise you won't face anymore humiliation in this house," Omkara said earnestly.
"I...
" Tumhe meri kasam!" Omkara said cutting her off. (I know it's cliche but did no t get any other thing)
Gauri looked at him shocked. She should tell him that she is not ready to stay but she couldn't. She felt like she should stay. Her heart kept telling her that she should not break his kasam. She did not say anything. Just took a spoon and placed it near his mouth. Omkara smiled as he ate the food.
