After the girl had finished eating she got up and looked around. She didn't really know where to go now and the handsome dwarf seemed to notice this.
"Shall I show you Erebor?" he asked smiling and (y/n) nodded relieved. That would be the easiest way to get to know the lonely mountain and she could learn more about this dwarf.
"Yes, please! Thank you Master...?" her elven manners required her to address someone she didn't know. She didn't know any other way, but the brown-eyed dwarf looked at her confused.
"Kili, only Kili, that's enough.", he answered and waited for her at the library-door.
"I'm sure you thought that this is the library-door. Haven't you, Lady...?" (y/n) found it sweet, how he tried to copy her way of addressing him. Obviously, he wanted to be polite.
"(y/n) is enough." she laughed as clear as a bell, what Kili liked very much. He liked this girl. The two wandered through the mountain and Kili showed (y/n) the forgings and living areas, the kitchen and the gardens. There were two gardens and they were as different as possible. One of them was a real garden which could be reached through the backdoor of the mountain. There were the most beautiful flowers one could imagine. Lily's, roses, sunflowers and many other's. But there were also flowers the girl had never seen before. Their petals glittered as though they were made of gemstones, gold and silver, but they lived. They lived like every other plant in this garden. The petals reflected the sunlight and made colourful shadows and in this garden were many benches and pavilions.
The other garden was deep inside the mountain and many wouldn't have told this a garden. When coming in the cavern, she seemed completely normal, nothing special, just rock. But if one walked through an archway carved out of stone one saw the whole beauty of this place. In the ceiling was a narrow shaft which went all the way up to the daylight. One couldn't imagine how long it had taken to built this shaft. Through this hole in the ceiling light fell and gave this place life. Crystals spread like gras. Silver flowed on the floor like streams, diamonds shine at the ceiling like stars and gemstones dotted the walls like colourful fireflies. There was something magical about this place and it wasn't easy for Kili to get the girl out of this cave for dinner. But no one should miss dinner with dwarves.
The dwarf and the half-elf quickly headed upstairs to the dining room, where the others were waiting for them. By now all the dwarves had welcomed the little Hobbit and Bombur already sat at the table, waiting. When the two late-comers sat down, everyone began to eat. They talked and laughed a lot, jokes were told and when Bombur cached an egg with his mouth, which was thrown by another dwarf, Kili nearly fell off his chair. (y/n) joined the laughter and watched the brown-haired dwarf from time to time who's laughter she already had grown fond of.
