I know there already is a Maleficent movie, but I wanted to make a fan cast for the actual story of sleeping beauty. This movie would include songs, sung by Aurora and Phillip. Here is my fan cast!

One reason Lili would be a good Aurora is her kind, sweet character. She also has a really pretty singing voice (if you have heard her in Riverdale musical episode). Her appearance also fits the character.

KJ Apa is really adorable and would just be the perfect person to play a Disney Prince. Not only does he look like Prince Phillip, he also has a really good singing voice. He has really good chemistry with Lili Reinhart as well because they have been together in Riverdale (I also REALLY ship Barchie!).

Cate Blanchett is an amazing actress and performer! She can play really sophisticated characters and just has that rich, dark tone of voice. She would be perfect to play Maleficent because she could really show how bad and powerful she is.

I don't know that much about Kathy Bates, but I think she would play a good Flora because she has had experience playing other difficult roles. Bates would do a good job of expressing the humor that Flora brings out. She also looks a lot like the character.

Jayma Mays is just a sweetheart! I love her to death as Emma in Glee and in other roles. She would be a good fit for Fauna because she could express the light-hearted, smart side of her. She would also look really good in green.

Melissa McCarthy is Awesome! I love her as Sookie in Gilmore Girls and cant wait to see her in The Little Mermaid Live Action movie! Melissa would play a good Merryweather due to her humorous and kind character. She also looks like the character a lot!
