Rosie unlocks the door to her spacious but empty house and kicks of her shoes. She decided she couldn't bare to wear the heels for any longer besides, it was only Lisa coming by so what was the need?
She turns on the lights in the hallway and makes her way to the kitchen to have a drink of cold water. After her long day at work she was tired and ready to fall asleep but she promised Lisa they'd spend dinner together.
Rosie always went the extra mile to ensure her friends were okay, especially with Lisa considering she left her family in Thailand when she moved over to Korea. Having gone through the same thing Rosie deeply empathises with Lisa and never wants her to feel alone the way she does herself sometimes.
She hears her front door unlock as she hears someone fiddling with it for a few seconds before opening it. It must be Lisa as she has keys to Rosies house.
"Rosie, its me, where are you?" Rosie hears Lisa shout out from the entrance.
"In here babe" Rosie shouts of from the kitchen as she places her glass in the dishwasher.
Lisa walks up to Rosie with a smile and two big bags in her hands. She places them on the counter before greeting Rosie with a kiss on the cheek as they usually greeted each other. "Hey".
"Hey, what you got there?" Rosie asks Lisa as she tries to get a peek.
"What? Not even going to ask me about my day?" Lisa asks Rosie pretending to be offended.
"Of course I am, I just got a bit excited... sorry" Rosie replies a little ashamed.
"Im joking babe" Lisa laughs. "I got us your favourite: Chinese" Lisa says as she begins to unpack the food onto the breakfast bar.
"Ahhh yes" Rosie says as she hops up and down happily.
She grabs a prawn cracker from Lisa's hand who was just about to take a bite.
"Hey! I was just about to eat that you know" Lisa says in a whiny voice.
"Sorry I couldn't resist" Rosie says as she walks behind Lisa to grab the dishes in which they'd be eating.
After dishing up their food Lisa and Rosie sit down to eat their food.
"So how was work then?" Rosie asks Lisa with her mouth full of rice.
Lisa just shook her head at Rosie before she replied "Yeah it was actually good you know"
"Ooh any reason in particular?" Rosie asks after noticing a small smile appear on Lisa's face.
"Well, actually... the model I was shooting today asked for my instagram" Lisa replies to Rosie.
"Oh woah... really? Get you huh" Rosie says teasing Lisa a little.
"Yeah, I know right" Lisa replies shyly.
"So what does she look like then?" Rosie asks Lisa.
Lisa takes out her phone to show Rosie what the girl looked like.
"Oh wow... she looks so pretty" Rosie says to Lisa.
"She looks kind of like you no?" Lisa asks Rosie simply.
Rosie didn't know if that was Lisa trying to tease her or, Lisa being serious.
"Yeah right... she's a model, she probably looks more like Jennie than me" Rosie let out laughing.
"No, I'm serious, like, look at her nose and her eye shape. Looks like yours" Lisa says while zooming into different parts of the models face.
Rosie didn't know if she should be flattered that her best friend paid so much attention to the features on her face or if she should just think its because its Lisa's job to notice people's best features.
