20. The party

Lisa and Rosie spent the majority of the night clinging onto each other more than usual.

"You okay Jen?" Jennie hears Kai ask her causing her to snap her head away from the the two girls.

"Oh uh yeah. I'm good, what about you baby?" She asks him.

He smiles back at Jennie "Yeah, I'm good" he replies, placing his hands on Jennie's back and kisses her neck from behind. "I'll be even better when the party is over"

Jennie blushes at Kai's words and leans in towards his kisses, giggling.

"Jheeze. Get a room you two" Jennie and Kai are stopped as they're approached by Lisa.

Jennie furrows her brows 'So she's finally left Chaengs side?'

"Wheres Rosie?" Jennie asks Lisa.

"Um... she went to the bathroom. About her though I-"

"Guys!!" Jisoo appears slightly out of breath. The three of them turn their heads towards her.

Jennie removes her hand from Kai's, she still felt guilty about their whole situation and even though Jisoo bought a date with her to the party, Jennie felt like she'd just be rubbing her relationship in Jisoo's face - she didn't want to do that.

"Somebody from Dispatch is here"

"What are you talking about?" Jennie blurts out and Lisa's eyes shoot open. What if they had seen Chaeyoung and her being all affectionate in the corner when they thought no one was watching.

"W-what do you mean?" Lisa speaks up.

"Look at this" Jisoo expresses as unlocks her phone, showing a tweet from Dispatch's twitter

@Dispatchkr: Party at [xxxxxx] seems to be full with secret idol couples👀

"Oh my God" the three mutter out at the sight.

"Fuck. Are you going to be okay baby?" Jennie asks turning to Kai, feeling worried immediately. The news of them as a couple hadn't been made official from Kai's company so technically, he wasn't even meant to be at this party.

"Um" He says as he scratches the back of his head, thinking "It's going to be okay babe" He replies chuckling nervously. "Maybe call the party off?" He suggests feeling really uneasy.

He didn't want anymore drama to happen. Jennie and Kai had already dealt with enough in the last few days.

"Yeah" Jennie nods in agreement. "Thanks for showing me that Jisoo" She turns to the brunette.

"Y-yeah its okay" Jisoo replies, her eyes placed on Kai's hand that had found its way on Jennie's hip again.

Lisa had missed the whole ordeal because the only thing she could think about was what would happen to Chaeyoung if they got pictures of her with Lisa. Where even was Chaeyoung Lisa found herself thinking.

It was as if the universe had heard her thoughts because right at that moment, Rosie returned with her bright smile. "Oh my God the line for the toilet was so long" She laughs but quickly senses the awkward atmosphere.

"W-whats wrong guys?" She asks looking between her friends.

"Um" Kai begins thinking how to mention it.

"Dispatch's in-source is here somewhere at this party" Lisa speaks up.

"W-what?!" Rosie spits in shock. "Shit" She mumbles.

"B-but its okay. Don't worry about Kai and I, we hadn't been too affectionate so they won't have got anything" Jennie says trying to calm her now anxious friend. She thought it was sweet Rosie was so concerned about them.
