13. Ninja

Lisa is awoken by the dull sound of something shattering on the floor downstairs. Instantly, she bolts downstairs to where she hears the sound come from in fear of what might have caused the sound. Her heart beat begins to increase a little. She tip toes and makes her way over to the kitchen. She peers her head around the corner to see Chaeyoung covered in coffee.

"Oh my god" Lisa says as enters the kitchen trying her best to hold in her laughter with her hand on her chest with relief.

"Shut up" Rosie sulks. "This is all your fault"

"M-my fault?" Lisa asks Rosie feeling very amused.

"Yes. I was trying to be quiet so that I wouldn't wake you up before I headed out to meet my manager" Rosie replies to Lisa with a pout.

"Thank God you're not a ninja then huh?" Lisa jokes clearly enjoying the sight of a coffee stained Rosie.

"Stop!" Rosie continues to sulk, dragging out the word. "Now I'm running late and I need to clean this up" She says as walks over and grabs a dustpan and brush.

Lisa quickly walks up to Rosie taking the brush and pan of her. "I got it. You go, you're going to get really late.

"You sure?" Rosie asks Lisa, feeling bad that she's leaving Lisa to clean up the mess she made.

"Yes, now go!" Lisa says as she ushers Rosie towards the door.

"Okay, okay I'm going but you know where the food and stuff is right? Get some breakfast in you before you leave" Rosie says to Lisa still feeling bad.

"Its okay, I'm meeting Jennie for breakfast in a bit anyways. You go now" Lisa says as she gives Rosie one final push out the door.

"Okay! Have a good breakfast with her and give her my love" Rosie says as walks towards her car and unlocks it.

"Okay I will, have a good day" Lisa says as she waves at Rosie and then closes the door as Rosie pulls out the driveway.

Lisa clears up the mess that was on the floor mopping away the coffee, she thinks about how Rosie was probably tip toeing around stealthily in order to not make much sound but then dropping the coffee everywhere. It makes Lisa giggle a little at the cute girl. She stands up after gathering the broken fragments of the mug, throwing away the shattered glass in the bin.

She heads upstairs and checks her phone to see it was already 9:30am. She had to leave in the next 10 minutes to get to Jennie in time. She looked at herself in the mirror and almost laughed. She had to sort out her bedhead hair ASAP.

She looked around Rosie's desk to find a hairbrush and her eyes settle on a familiar object. It was her rose to Rosie.

She kept it.

She kept it next to her mothers necklace and fathers ring. The ones they gave to her when she moved away from Australia.

The rose was placed next to such invaluable objects. That touched Lisa's heart and made her feel as though her heart had just skipped a beat.

Did the rose make that much of an impression?

Rosie would always be precious in her eyes.

She finds the brush and begins to brush her hair. She quickly rummages through Rosie's wardrobe to find something to wear. There was no way she was going to meet up with Jennie in the clothes she wore to bed. She had some dignity.

She pulls out an oversized Arctic Monkeys band tshirt and some black shorts. The weather outside was beautiful; the sun was shining with a calm breeze. Perfect for going on a walk in.
