Xiao Zhan sweatdropped and his hands shooked for a bit. He bites his lower lip and he felt his heart banging on his ears. Who is this man? This is not good at all! The florist thought as he internally panicked tryig to keep a calm face. He gave the shorter man a shakey smile.

"Aigo, what are you t-talking about?" Xiao Zhan stuttered as he averts his gaze at the shorter man. The man with the fan chuckles lightly. "I must have startled you, mister Zhan," he started as he walks closer to the counter.

"You're part of the Wang Company, are you not?" Xiao Zhan sighed and there was no point to play dumb anymore. He quickly throws his useless facade and thanked the heavens they Meng-jie wasn't here. He replied as he crosses his arms, "What Wang Company? The Wang of my family or another Wang?"

"Obviously, your Wang family."

"Did Zhuocheng order you to come here?" The florist asked as he leans on the counter with a huff. "Something like that," he taps his fan on the counter lightly with a smile. "Why? I didn't even do anything."

"You visited the neighboring Wang Company today." Xiao Zhan's eyes widen in surprise from his words. "Aiya, I didn't even do anything there, I just delivered flowers," he explained and shows the receipt of the order. "Mr. Zhan, Mr. Wang Zhuocheng is currently angry for you being reckless."

"What!? I didn't even meet the CEO!" He complained and massaged his temples. The shorter man coughs for a bit as he covers his mouth with a fan. "Your mother has been asking about you."

"Wait- What's your name?" He asked as he points the man in confusion. "Ji Li, basically, Mr. Zhuocheng just ordered me to spy on you but since you went to the other company today, he got furious. He wants you to go back at the main household."

"How did he even find out? And mother? What's she gonna say? Set me up again? I don't want to, mister Li," Xiao Zhan sighed as he slumps on the counter, completely defeated and exhausted with the amount of information he'd just discovered.

"Please reconsider, your older sister wants to see you, too. Mister Zhuocheng already prepared all of your travelling expenses," hearing about his older sister, he couldn't help but have second doubts. He missed her a lot and it's been a while. With a sigh, he stares at the white piece of paper wrapped neatly.

"I'll think about it," he whispered as he takes the white envelope from Ji Li's hand. "Thank you so much, mister Zhan. Also, I'd like a basket of daffodils again," he said with a smile so innocently and Xiao Zhan wanted to comment about it but decided not to. "Please wait," he sighs and went to the daffodils section to get a basket of them.

Ji Li scans the area as he waited for the florist to return. "I wonder why Mr. Zhan decided to work here," he mumbled under his breath. On the top shelf, he sees a picture frame hidden on one of the ornaments. There were three friends smiling together on the photo. He squinted his eyes for a bit and leans further to get a closer look. The one in the right side was obviously Xiao Zhan, what caught Ji Li's eyes were the background. "Isn't that..." he didn't finish his sentence and quickly took out his phone as he snaps a shot.

Luckily, Ji Li shoved his phone back at his pocket by the time Xiao Zhan came back with a basket of daffodils. "Is this all?" The florist asked with the obvious tiredness in his tone. Ji Li hums for a bit and looks around once more, "Ah, do you have white lilies?"

"Yes, we have but if you don't mind me asking, why are you buying flowers?" He asked a bit suspiciously and Ji Li just chuckled. "No need to worry, mister Zhan. I want to decorate my house with some flowers in the balcony."

"Is that so?" Xiao Zhan replied as if he was contemplating something. "Well, I'll be right back again." And off the florist went at the farther side of the flower shop. This time, Ji Li tiptoed a bit and took a clearer photo of the picture. He sighs in relief when Xiao Zhan didn't notice it.

When the florist came back with white lilies on his hand, Ji Li pays it and smiles at Xiao Zhan. "Thank you so much and Mr. Zhan," he started and the florist immediately looks up at him. "What is it?"

"Hope it goes well for you," he didn't wait for the florist to reply as he already stepped out of the flower shop. Xiao Zhan slumps on the counter and sighed. "If I go back, who will take care of this shop?"

"These flowers are absolutely wonderful!" Mrs. Wang said as she takes a pot. Her son hums in agreement and she smiles. "You really prepared a lot for my birthday, even my favorite flowers are here."

"Anything for you, mother."

"Awe, my dear baby boy," she hugs her son in delight and couldn't help but get teary eyed. "But why are there only a few of them here?"

"The flowers were sent at the banquet hall, which the celebration will be held," Yibo explained and Fanxing nods in agreement. "Aiya, is that so? Well I can't wait! I need to go and unpack some things. Also, our fellow Mrs. Wang sent you a gift."

Yibo didn't say anything as he impassively waits for his nother who is currently searching in her navy blue Michaela bag. "Oh here it is," she said happily as she hands her son a small picture frame wrapped in a white veil like cloth. Wang Yibo was confused and thought, a picture frame? What for?

He takes it and slowly opens it. To his surprise, he sees a very beautiful young looking lady with long wavy auburn hair. She had an angelic smile plastered on her face as her eyes were crescent when the photo was taken. "Mom, who is this?"

"Your fiancè!" His mother replied as she clasped her hands together in delight.
