Delirious POV

"Good news, your able to leave the hospital today, Jonathan Denis" the nurse told me. "Thank you ma'am" I said politely. I grabbed my old clothes that were cleaned by the nurse. I took my hospital clothes off and put them on. I decided to not wear my hoodie, it gave me bad memories.

Even if it was my favorite hoodie it still haunts me. The blood that stained the hoodie, even if the stains weren't there. I could still remember them, the rips that were made when they pulled on it and begged for mercy. I still remember their faces, the people I killed still haunt me in my dreams. Why did I grow up to be this way, why did he leave me. He lied to me, he was never really my friend. He was just using me................he left me without saying goodbye.

He was like family to me, my father would always say that it was my fault for my mother's death. I was in the car crash with her, if someone deserves to die it should me...but. Even in the darkest times, he was there to pull me back into the light. We were like brothers, we looked out for each other. No matter how big the trouble was he was there by my side.

We fought till the war's end, so why did he leave me. "Mr.Denis" I was yanked from my thoughts, I quickly look up to see the nurse standing in the doorway. "You may leave now and make sure not to strain your arm" she suggested. I nodded and walked out of the room to the exit. I decided to head back to my house, it was a long walk from the hospital to my house.

I was glad to be out of the hospital but now I have to face my dad. I text him that I was in the hospital a few weeks ago. He never texted back nor did he visited me. I walked up to the door and knocked on it twice. No answer, I looked in the driveway to see his car not there.

I sigh, now how am I going to get in the house. I went around to the side and saw my window which was still open. I climbed up the tree branch and jumped to my windowsill. I felt pain strike my arm, I couldn't hold on no more. I quickly let go and hit the hard ground.

I grunted in pain, I slowly sat up. I layed my back against the house, my arm hurt like hell. I closed my eyes and rest there for a few minutes. I felt something lick my cheek, I quickly opened my eyes. It was that baby wolf I saw from before but how did it find me.

The baby wolf then layed their head on my leg to get comfortable. I looked at their tail to see it wagging, I smiled and pet their head. I slowly got up and walked to the backyard. I looked back to see the baby wolf following close behind me. I can't have him following me around I have school tomorrow, I thought.

I can't let him inside the house either, I had to figure out what to do with him. He's not hostile towards me so that's good. I guess I'll bring him to the forest near the mountains.

After a few minutes of walking I made it to the mountains. I had to carry him all the way there, luckily he wasn't that heavy. He weighed as much as a puppy, a big puppy, I walked into the woods and layed him in the fallen leafs.

I started to walk away when I felt something nudged my leg. I looked down to see him whimpering, I sighed. I kneeled down and patted his head. "Stay" I started to leave again and heard him walking behind. "STAY" I turned around and yelled, he let a big whimper.

He looked into the other direction then back at me. He whimpered again, he trotted over to me and licked my hand. He then walked back into the woods, looking back at me one last time. Something tells me we will meet again.
