~Chapter 2 New School

Delirious POV

"Jonathan, get down here" I heard my father yell from down stairs. I growled at the sound of his voice. I opened my eyes and saw the bed covered with blood, I had to clean this up quickly. I went to my bathroom and changed my bandages and threw the old ones in the trash. I then cleaned up the mess I made on the bed.

After I cleaned up the blood, I went to my closet and grabbed my blue hoodie to cover up the bandages. I then ran down the stairs to find out what my dad wanted. He was at the bottom of stairs with his arms crossed waiting for me.

He gave me a serious look then said, "You're going to school today"."What" I shouted in a loud, surprised voice. "You're going to school, TODAY" he repeated himself. "Why the hell am I going to school?!" I yelled at him. "Get in the car NOW" he yelled back at me. I huffed and marched outside to the car.

I looked out the window as we drove by several buildings. Soon we arrived at the school parking lot. I got out of the car and my dad handed me a backpack full of school supplies and other stuff.

As I entered the school, I felt people staring at me. I went to the office to get my schedule. A lady at the front desk handed me my schedule. Her name was Beth, I saw the name tag, as you can tell I'm very observant.

Once I grabbed my schedule, I walked out the office without saying a word. As I walked down the hall of people, I heard someone behind me say "hey new kid". I turned around and began to stare at him. "What do you want" I said in a deep voice. "Uhhhhh, well me and my friends wanted to introduce ourselves" a tall kid said to me. "My name is Tyler, what yours" he asked me.

I just stared at him with a cold look. "Well are you going to say something or are you going to just stand there" he said teasingly. I sighed and gave up. "My name is Jonathan", he then smirked at me and looked at a group of people and waved them over.

Unknown POV

I watched as Tyler walked up to the new student. After a few minutes, Tyler waved at us to come over. I was so excited to meet the new student. "Hi there, my name is Ryan" I said in a timid voice. He just stared at me, he didn't even say a word.

It started to make me uncomfortable but then he said something that made me shiver, "am I making you uncomfortable, Ryan". The way he said my name made me jump.

I just stared at him but then finally someone broke the silence. "Guys this is Jonathan, Jonathan these are my friends" Tyler started to introduce us. "This is Craig, Lui, Brock, Brian, David, and Anthony and you already met Ryan" he said while pointing at each of us.

Then all of the sudden Ring..Ring, the bell had rung. It was time for class, Tyler then asked Jonathan if he could see his schedule. He handed Tyler his schedule, Tyler then said "you have english class first" he pointed Jonathan the direction he needed to go and gave him his schedule back.

Jonathan then walked away once again without saying a word, he could of at least said thank you or give a wave goodbye. I have to admit he was a bit rude. I then walked away with my friends to class, I had science with Craig, Brian, and Luke.

Luke was another friend of ours, he is one of the most funniest and kindest people I've met. I sat at the back of the classroom with Luke and Brian. After an hour of experiments, it was lunch time. As I walked down the hallway, I noticed someone getting beat up. It was Evan, he always gets bullied by the kid name Jackson and his friends.

I'm not someone to pick a fight, I was scared too. I watch as my friend got hurt and I did nothing to help. I cover my face with my hands as I sobbed in to them. It was very painful to watch my friend get punched over and over again.

Delirious POV

As walked down the hall, I saw someone getting bullied by some kids. I got angry, it reminded me of my dad. He would hit me with no hesitation, he would hit me even went I did nothing wrong.

My blood began to boil as the kid was about to hit him again. I ran towards the kid and punch him hard in the face making him fall to the ground with a bloody jaw. I then said with anger in my voice "if you touch him again, I will make you pay". He looked at the other kids and said "come on let's go". He walked away, I then looked down at the kid on the ground.

I stretched my hand to him, he grabbed it and said in a stuttery voice "t-thank you". For the first time I slightly smiled and said "you're welcome". He smiled at me and said "my name is Evan what is yours". "Jonathan" I said as I pulled him up to his feet.

Out of nowhere someone tackled Evan with a hug. It was Ryan, he started rambling questions. He then ran to me and hugged me tightly. "Thank you, thank you" Ryan started rambling again. "Uhhh.....your welcome, now get off of me" I said in a slightly annoyed voice.

He stopped hugging me, I looked at his face and he was smiling but had tears in his eyes. Evan then walked up to me and said "h-hey, I was wondering if you want to hangout with me and my friends at lunch". I just nodded a yes and then all three of us headed over to lunch.

Evan POV

I walked with Jonathan and Ryan to lunch, it was the first time someone actually stepped up. Ryan never tried to step up to save me, he was scared too. I don't blame him, I would too. I got my tray of food and started walking to my friends table.

Once I sat down, I noticed Tyler was staring at Jonathan. I then ask "have you guys met before". Tyler nodded and said "yeah, he's the new student". "I'm surprised, he already started to get into fights" I said while laughing a little.

Brian then said "hey, how about we celebrate at my place with our new friend". I looked at Jonathan, he looked like he was in a daze. I shook his shoulder, he looked at me. He then rubbed his forehead and said "sure, I'll come". I was super excited when I heard that.

~Time Skip

After school I looked through my closet, I was deciding what to wear. I decided to wear my favorite red jacket with white strips. I put on some black jeans, black shoes and a black T-shirt. I went to the bathroom to look at my outfit.

I smiled in the mirror but then I noticed I was missing something. I went back in my room, there it was my lucky charm. It was an owl with red ruby eyes, I put the necklace around my neck.

I went back to the bathroom and looked in the mirror once again. Perfect, I walked out the door and called Tyler. He was my ride, after a few minutes he arrived in his car.

He was wearing a white T-shirt with a cat on it, as I got in the car I noticed he was also wearing zebra striped jeans. As we got to the house, Brian was standing in the entrance with a welcoming smile.

We were the first ones to arrive, I looked at the PS4 then at Brian and Tyler. "Ok, I guess we could play until the rest". After about 10 minutes, a few people arrived. It was Brock, Lui, Craig, Ryan, Luke, and Anthony. I started to wonder.......where is Jonathan?
