Nogla POV

Lui has been gone for a while, I texted him that our friends were having a hang out at, I think, Luke's house. Evan was able to pick me up which I thanked him for. Once we were there, I saw some of the guys joking around in the kitchen. While the others were having deep conversations while lazing about on the couch.

Evan went to talk to Tyler, I think his name was. I'm really not good with names to be honest, I sigh in boredom. Everyone had someone to talk to except for me. Even if I had someone to talk to, what would I even say. I can't remember much of anything about my life.

Everyone seemed so deep in there conversations that I don't think they would notice if I went to do some exploring. Which that's exactly what I did, I wondered around the house. Everything was normal to what a regular house would have.

While I was passing the basement stairs, I swear, I saw something shine in there. It was probably the light reflecting onto something but on what. Curiosity of what was down there soon got the best of me. I walked down the old wooden steps that looked like they would break if you step on it the wrong way.

I scanned the dark creepy room, I swung my hand around, looking for the string actived light switch that I could just barely see in the dark. Grabbing it, I pulled on it and the room was instantly lit up.

It was less creepy but somehow still had that creepy feeling in the atmosphere. "Huh" I exclaimed, my eyes catching sight of an interesting box that was hiding in the right side of the room.

I got down on my knees, pulling the box towards me. Lifting the cardboard flap, I felt a shiver go down my spine, seeing a pile of all different kinds of guns. I picked one of the guns up, which was a simple pistol. I stared at the pistol for a long period until my version went blurry.

~Flashback

I slowly lifted the gun, "that's it, now aim for the head" my dad instructed. I aimed at the head of the target, focusing on the red dot in the middle. The gun was a bit heavy at first but I grown to get use to it over the years. "Make sure to keep your arms steady, just like I taught ya" my dad stated.

I kept my arms steady, aiming at the target. I focused on the red dot in the middle of the target before putting pressure on the trigger and a shot rang out. "Well, would ya look at that, right on the dot, I taught ya well" my dad remarked.

I grinned widely at him, "do ye think I would be as good as ye someday" I questioned. He gave me this warm smile, "by the rate ye are going, ya will probably be more then better than me" my dad assured me. I smiled brightly at him, feeling accomplished for getting his approval.

~Time Skip

Loud gun shots were heard outside my house. Out of instinct, I ran out the house, holding something in my hand tightly by my side. My heart was pounding hard in my chest as I saw my dad on the ground slowly bleeding to death.

A man was standing on top of him, aiming a gun at his head. I clinched my teeth, raising the item in my hand that was revealed to me as a gun. I focused on his head, this time, there was no red dot. In seconds, his whole body fell to the ground. A bullet hole clear in the side of his head, I ran to my dad.

Tears start to well up in my eyes as I held my dad in my arms. "You're not dying on me, not today..." I yelled, clinching my teeth harder, I teared my shirt. Using it as bandages and putting little pressure on the wounds. I then carried him back inside, which was not easy since how heavy he was.
