~Chapter 24 I'm Here For You

David POV

I watch as Tyler held Craig close to him, they look cute together. HEY, all I'm saying is that, I SHIP IT. I smiled wide and I could feel Lui cuddle up closer to me. I looked down at him and gave him a warm smile. I then kissed him on the forehead and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

My face began to heat up looking into Lui's eyes, I could see that there was some mischief in his eyes. I chuckled, pinching his cheek and leaning close to his ear. "Not now is the time" I whispered in his ear and then bit the top of his ear, teasing him.

He laughs and smacked my arm, "hey, stop teasing me" he pouted and I laugh. I rubbed my arm, "that hurt, ye know" I whined in a childish way. "Good" he said sticking his tongue out at me. I laugh once more, "hey, don't you stick your tongue out at me" I said playfully. We laughed together and it seem that the atmosphere in the room lighten up a little.

I looked up to see everyone staring at us, I felt my face heat up from all the eyes on us. "Well isn't that cute" Marcel commented and I couldn't help but smile. After that, the silence in the room was finally broken and everyone was talking and making up some sort of conversation. We were all finally having a good time.

Luke POV

I tapped on the wheel waiting for Jon and Evan to return. I sighed, leaning back into my seat, I then glance at my side mirror. That's when I saw it, Evan leaving the alleyway with a bloody Jonathan in his arms. I immediately ran out of the car, running towards Evan. "WHAT HAPPENED" I yelled at Evan for an answer. He just looked at me, biting the bottom of his lip.

He opened his mouth to say something but immediately shut it. He then ran passed me and to the car, I ran after getting in the driver's seat and him getting in the passenger's seat still having Jonathan in his arms. "Wha-" I was going to ask again but he cut me off, "WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS" he snapped.

I was shock for a second at his sudden yelling and nodded, I then started the car up and drove off. "Does he have a pulse" I asked still having my eyes on the road. After a few moments of uncomfortable silence. "Yeah but he's breathing is very slow" he said and I tried to calm myself down.

I then thought for a moment, we can't take him to the hospital or he would be suspended of the mask murder. Especially if they see my car, "we are going to my house, I have stuff to stitch him up there" I told Evan and he stayed quiet, filling the car with silence.

I sigh in defeat, applying more pressure to the gas pedal to get to my house quicker. All I could think about the whole way there was........is Jonathan going to be okay. No, I shouldn't worry, Jonathan is strong. He will make it through this, he will, I kept telling myself over and over.

~Time Skip

I was so glad we finally made it to the house. I immediately got out of the car and rushed to Evan's side. I grabbed Jonathan's wrist, it was cold. I started to freak out, I then realized all the blood on Evan.

Me and Evan lifted Jonathan and ran to the house door. I banged hard and rapidly on the door supporting Jonathan with my other hand. "Plz, op-open up" I yelled in a pleading way, chocking on my words.

As soon as they opened the door, I forcefully pushed pass them and to the kitchen. We lifted Jonathan onto the kitchen table, I then went to the wound. All I could see was blood, the blood was everywhere.

It was all over my hands, I started to shake in fear as I ripped his shirt. That when I saw the huge gash, the wound was so deep. "What happened, is he going to be ok" I heard David asked but I didn't say anything. I put my ear against his chest to listen for a heart beat but I heard nothing.

I immediately started to pump his chest, "Evan get my first aid kit, it's in the bathroom" I ordered and he ran to the nearest bathroom. I put my ear against his chest once more, hoping to hear something. Not one heart beat was heard, I started to pump his chest once again.

I could feel tears roll down my face, "plz........plz don't die on me" I whispered. "Here, I got the first aid kit" I heard Evan say. I looked at Evan with tears in my eyes, I continue to pump his chest. Plz, plz don't die, we need you, I need you. I put my ear against his chest one more time, there was silence. Until, I heard the faintest heart beat, I was relieved once I hear another heart beat following after the first.

I then looked up at Evan then at the others. I grabbed the first aid kit, taking out stitches and some stuff to clean the wound. After I cleaned the blood around the wound, I grabbed a small needle and started to sew up the wound. "You know, I haven't done this in a long time I'm glad I still remember how to" I suddenly said as I closed the wound. Then grabbed the bandages, slowly wrapping it around his shoulder. "He's going to need rest, he'll sleep in my room tonight" I said picking him up and walking towards my room.

I gently layed him on the bed, his heart was beating slowly and he was breathing shallow. I kneeled down next to him, leaning close to his ear. "I promise, I won't leave you this time, I promise" I whispered into his ear.

I felt a tear slide down my face as I held his hand. "I need you...........your the last thing I have left....................we may not be blood related but.........I just want you to know that you will always be my brother from another mother.....just stay alive is all I'm asking you, you don't have to forgive me for all the mistakes I've done" I sniffed, holding his hand up to my forehead. "I've lost to many people..............I can't lose you too......it my fault you've gotten worst.......isn't it..." I whimpered as more tears flowed down my face. "I'm so so sorry..........plz Jonathan...all I'm asking you is to hold on.......plz, for me" I cried out loud. "Please" I asked one last time as I stared at his motionless body. "I need you, I have no one else" I said to Jonathan, I got up and walked to a chair that was near by.

I brung it near the bed and held his hand. "I'm here for you" I said tightening my grip on his hand. "And I will always be here for you, I won't leave you" I said and smiled weakly at Jonathan even though he couldn't see it causes his eyes were closed shut. Plz be okay Jonathan, I need you, your the only family I have left.
