When people say 'everyone' they only mean the LIVING or CURRENT population of Earth. Or, in America.
Scary stories are pointless. They are absolutely nothing compared to every day, real life horrors and tragedies. Real life, in a sense, exceeds the bounds of any horrors one could imagine. THESE ARE REAL AND THESE HAPPEN. They are things you should actually fear. They happen every day. They are not unreasonable hoaxes.
