The woman sped her way down the corridors of the tower, she felt like her face was on fire, she shook her head regretting the past few minutes and kept her head down, trying her best to make her way back to her room. She heard the doors behind her open and she knew it'd be Steve, so she started running.
Agents all around her stared at her in curiosity as the woman ran full speed down the corridors with the captain America behind her but she kept her eyes forward and on task, this was not the time to worry about what others thought.
She made it back to her room and turned to slam her door shut but felt someone stopping her, she looked around the door and saw Steve's foot in the way.
"Steve." She spoke out of breath.
For a moment the two stared into each other's eyes. Both of them trying to figure out what to say. How were you supposed to talk to someone after that confession anyways.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Steve spoke in an intense dramatic fashion. The woman tilted her head at him as if he was stupid.
"Because, Steve, how in the fuck do I bring that up?" Steve was taken aback by her answer.
Steve was a romantic he expected this moment to be full of emotions and sweet yet shy conversation, but no. Not with Y/N.
"W-what." Steve stuttered.
"How in the fuck do you expect me to walk up to captain fucking America and admit I have feelings for you, huh? What kind of bullshit question is that?"
"What I mean—"" and what the fuck does that even mean? It's not like you've ever hinted to liking me back so why would I just, out of the blue, admit something that big to you?!"
"I'm sorry." Steve said as he stared at the seething woman. "I thought I made it pretty obvious." The woman's glare immediately softened at his words.
"What?" Y/N asked, it was her turn to be at a loss for words.
"I thought you knew, I didn't exactly try to hide it." Steve said with a nervous shrug.
"You treat me the same as you treat everyone else." The woman said shyly.
"Oh." Steve said as he furrowed his eyebrows. When suddenly the idea popped in his head. A smirk appeared on his lips as he looked at Y/N "How bout I make some things clear for you." Steve went to pull her in for a kiss but the woman began burst out laughing.
"I'm sorry." The woman said as she tried to catch her breath. Her hands hitting his chest as she laughed "I'm sorry I'm sorry, that's just so cheesy." Steve sighed.
"Can you please not ruin the moment." Steve asked as he placed his hands on the woman's back.
"Can be a little more creative with your so called moments." The woman replied and made Steve roll his eyes.
"Oh my god just kiss me would you?"
"Someone's eager." The woman said as they finally kissed.
