A/N: Changes were made regarding the leader's (of the enemies) character. Originally, he was obsessed with Angela, Fei's fiancee (like all of the future enemies to come). This won't greatly change the plotline though, so don't worry~

One strike!

A single strike decimated a one star warrior! This shocked both the Chambord soldiers and the enemy soldiers. They all looked at that man as if he was a dragon in human form.

The clash of weapons and roared war cries that resounded across the battlefield several minutes ago had ceased. It was peacefully silent. However, when the Chambordian soldiers and the enemy soldiers crossed eyes, they immediately returned to killing each other, the Chambordian soldiers with renewed motivation and the enemy soldiers with apprehension in their gaze.

"Hahaha! It actually worked! I'm so clever! Hahaha." That man laughed ludicrously.

Near the Chambord Castle, half a mile away from the moat named Zuli, a hundred black military tents prevented any exit from the castle.

This was the base of the enemy army.

Unfortunately, the people of Chambord were unaware of the origin of those black armoured enemies. Three days ago, after the dispersion of the morning fog, a sentry luckily discovered the fast approaching enemies. He quickly closed the castle's gate and enabled time for Chambord to secure its defense.

There were approximately two thousand soldiers in the invading army.

After squandering their advantage of surprise, they settled beside the Zuli moat. The invaders relentlessly sieged the castle every day, and prevented communication between Chambord and the rest of the world with their multiple scouts.

Today was the fourth day.

"This little castle possesses a complex terrain designed to frustrate any invader. If this dangerous moat and that defense wall didn't support them, I would've already conquered this castle for father, and everyone wouldve become my toys already..."

On the bank of the Zuli moat, a knight wearing a charcoal black armour with a silver mask grumbled.

The silver mask only covered the top half of his face, and a barbaric demon carving decorated it. He rode a black war horse, tall and powerful, that emanated the aura of a majestic beast. The horse also wore a ferocious suit of armour, which only exposed its eyes and legs. An obscure enigmatic force surrounded him, similar to the attractive force of a magnetic field.

Behind him, nineteen other imposing knights stood in silence.

The same black scheme followed them, armoured and commanding on their towering horses. They also wore similar masks, but in black rather than silver. With the horses spiked armour, they were a squadron of devil knights from hell.

"What an unexpected outcome! This kingdom is a mere level six affiliate of an insignificant level one empire, yet it has a moat with a deadly current and a tenacious defense wall. There's even a three star warrior!" A devil knight behind the silver masked knight exclaimed in wonder. He then sneered at the weak kingdom's struggle. "Do not fret, master! The defenders will surely relinquish in the next twenty minutes. This castle will surrender!"

"Eh... After we conquer this castle, dismiss the soldiers; they are free to do whatever they want. There is no need for anyone to survive." The silver masked knight indifferently stated this ruthless command, as if he was only commenting on the weather. "Remember! Any use of fire is prohibited! We need this castle."

"Yes, master!" All nineteen devil knights chorused. They had already accomplished this hundreds of times and the order was now an evidence to them.

One of the black knights hesitantly questioned: "Master, their king..."

"Execute him! And for the next three days, all the females in the castle will service the soldiers, after which you will kill them."

"We follow your commands!" The knights cheered, and readily executed his orders.

"[Twenty] has almost finished, prepare yourselves..." The silver masked knight ascertained to his subordinates. "When the gate opens, all of you will rush in and swiftly obliterate the enemy! I want to settle on their king's throne as soon as possible!"

"Boom!"

Before he could finish his sentence, a monstrous noise rang from the battlefield.

It resonated louder than thunder.

Moreover, all the knights were star ranked warriors and possessed enhanced abilities, so they witnessed clearly what happened on the defensive wall of Chambord.

The devil knights lost their frigid composure at their companion's defeat. "Oh god! This is was [Twenty] severed in half by an enemy?! Shit! Do they have a war god?"

They glanced at each other, shock swirling in their eyes, uneasy.

As star ranked warriors skilled in martial arts, they immediately understood that the iron man who cut [Twenty] in half had only used brute force. There were no traces of energy in his attack. However, this was a terrifying thought — [Twenty] was already a one star warrior!

"Master, allow me to slaughter that bastard to avenge [Twenty]!"

The devil knights impatiently desired for revenge.

Although they didn't have names, and were only designated numbers, they had been under the command of the silver masked knight for the past four or five years. They had eaten together and slept together, and were closer than any blood related brothers. Nevertheless, they hadn't expected [Twenty] to die in this horrible way, especially during this seemingly easy siege.

"Was he born with inhuman strength?"

The silver masked knight smirked mysteriously. He waved at the black knights with poise and authority. "Interesting... This man has intrigued me — halt the siege. Call back the soldiers!"

"Master, this..."

"Is there a problem with my command?" The silver masked man inquired callously.

"We follow your commands, master!"

"Wait... 'Eagle' mentioned the king is a retard. Haha, change of plans! Surround the castle, and suggest the surrender of the castle. If they obey, the king, ministers, and that iron man can survive, others will be executed!"

The silver masked knight ordered, as he entertained cunning thoughts through his telling smirk.

"Yes, master!"

The black knights galloped away, unhesitatingly executing his orders.

"Come, carry this brave soldier to the medic ward. Hurry!"

Of course, this iron man was Fei.

Fei's axe resembled the scythe of the grim reaper. One by one, it harvested the lives of each enemy soldier on the defensive wall. Not one could withstand a single strike from Fei. After executing all the enemies around Pierce, he turned and yelled. Several soldiers hurried forward and carried the unconscious Pierce off to the medic ward.
