A few days after Shawn and I had met, news outlets ran with the photos and tweets from that girl. I could barely leave my apartment without being bombarded by people asking questions about what happened, who the girl was, and how I was doing.

Shawn and I had talked about it, we decided to say nothing, do nothing. We wouldn't say anything to anyone about the situation, nor would we do anything to indicate any drama happening. We wanted to keep this all private.

Sav and Madison stopped over pretty often, checking in on me. I still drank, but not every night and not as heavily. I stopped doing drugs and started buying food for the apartment.

Amelia came back from Australia and spent the night with me, we talked about everything and she said she was going to beat Peter's ass for taking me out that night. She ranted about how she knew leaving him with me would end badly and that she felt bad for letting him drug me up. I told her it was my decision and he didn't do anything wrong.

The next morning she left and Peter had texted me, saying how sorry he was. I sent him a 'whipped' gif and Amelia texted me that she was laughing.

Shawn and I had met once since the original meeting, I had gone to his house. He had since cleaned up and the holes in the walls were patched. We had talked about the whole news media thing and I had almost spent the night.

I had fallen asleep, but Shawn was worried I would be mad if he let me sleep there. He had woken me
up and I drove home.

I was currently editing an article that was going in the next issue and my phone rang.

"Mille Evans."

"Hey, Millie! It's Will. Maggie wanted to know if you could stop in the office for a meeting?"

"Will? Why didn't she just call me?"

"She is a busy lady, booked. The meeting is in an hour. She really wants you there."

"Okay, I guess I'll be there." I said, hanging up.

I rolled out from my covers and took a quick shower. I put my hair into a low ponytail and did light makeup. I put on a pencil dress that had a u-cut front. I put on a pair of flip flops and brought heels with. I grabbed my laptop and phone, throwing them in my carrying case.

I headed to the office and went to the meeting room. The meeting room was in the back corner, it had glass windows, but the curtains were always closed. I set my things down and in walked Maggie and Will.

"So, Millie. It has been brought to my attention a lot of your extra curricular activities." Maggie, my boss, said.

She sat down across the table and Will sat a few seats near me. He had a smirk on his face and watched with amusement.

"Okay..?" I trailed.

"We are worried. As a magazine company, we have to report on news. One of our writers is doing an article on your situation."

"Hold on-"

"Millie, we are a news magazine. We are the latest on gossip and important news. You knew full well coming into this, that any number of these things would happen."

"But, don't you think-"

"We are getting quotes from a number of sources and as an employee here, we want you to prepare for what could happen. I have already spoken to Catherine about this and she is onboard with the article being written."

"Catherine approved this?"

"In fact, she did." Will smugly said.

"We just want you to be ready for the things being said. That's all."
