Instead of sitting behind my desk, I opted for one of the couches knowing that we were going to have a very long talk.
They sit all around me; Elijah on my left, Rebekah on my right, Niklaus standing beside her and Freya sitting on the armrest beside Elijah.
Hayley and Davina were sitting opposite me on the other couch, Kol in between them, smirking at me.
A few awkward seconds of silence later, I break.
"Well what did you want to talk about then?!" I ask a little to loudly.
"What do you mean darling?" Kol said, knowingly.
"What do i mea ~ I mean the fifty messages you left on my phone last night ~ I'm not even going to ask how you got my number by the way."
Kol raised his eyebrows and clicked his fingers as if he just remembered what I meant. "Oh yes, well I just thought after so many years being apart, we should have a little catch up session. Seeing now you're a headmistress, a vampire mother to two siphoners and oh yes back from the dead." He emphasised.
"I have many questions on all three of those statements." Rebekah piped up.
"Hey, I'm not the only one who rose from the dead. What about you?" I argued back, ignoring Rebekah.
Kol stood up in frustration making me follow his action. "This is different; why didn't you tell me you were back from the dead?!" He said with a straight face, taking one step forward.
"Why didn't you tell me you were back from the dead." I twist it, taking another step closer.
The room went silent for a minute, the youngest Mikaelson son and I just staring at each other ~ that was until I saw Kol's face break out in a smile, making mine do the same.
Kol pulled me into a big hug. "I thought I'd never see you again."
"Are you kidding me! I thought you were a goner when Bonnie told me what happened with a bright light." I saw, pulling back and playfully slapping his shoulder.
"That bright light ended up being my mother." He groaned.
"Shocker! Esther came back from the dead, let me guess Mikael too." I laughed but seeing everyone's face made me stop. "Wow, they really just don't wanna stay dead, do they."
"Okay, hold up. What the bloody hell is happening?" Rebekah stood up, annoyed. "Why do you keep saying you came back from the dead?"
"Because I did." I said, confused.
"Darling, I'm not sure they're aware of what happened." Kol whispered, making me realise.
"Oh, right." I say, sitting down, Kol and Rebekah following my lead and everyone looks at me.
