Chapter 17: Everest’s POV

I was at the super market, trying to answer a text, of course I accidentally hit my cart into someone. I looked up to see a man around my age standing there, rubbing the side of his leg. “Oh my god I am so sorry!” I said, running to the man.

“Oh it’s okay.” The man looked up, his piercing green eyes stared into mine. “Everest?” He said to me. I nodded. “I listen to Black Veil Brides. Andy’s girls.” I nodded. “I’m Spade.” He smiled, outstretching his hand. I took the handshake.

“I was just texting Andy actually.” I laughed lightly. We continued to shop together. I learned a lot about Spade and we ended up exchanging phone numbers. Even though Spade was stunningly gorgeous I wasn’t attracted to him. He was bisexual and leaned more towards guys.

I was so much happier with Andy.

Spade’s POV:

Andy better watch out. Spade’s going to steal his girl. I know we would be better together than him. Soon, in a few weeks, she’ll be in my arms and she will be asking who the hell Andy Biersack is and who’s Black Veil Brides.

Andy’s POV:

Everest walked in with a smile with shopping bags in her hand. “Hey I met a fan at the store today although I almost killed them with my shopping cart while texting you.” She laughed as she kicked the door shut with the back of her converse.

“Was he cool?” I asked her. Some Black Veil Brides fans can be a bit crazy. I didn’t mind the craziness all that much but I know some people can be a bit crazy. Especially in Los Angeles.

“Yeah. Really cool we talked about the rest of the time. His name is Spade.” She said to me, she set the grocery bags on the kitchen counter. I really didn’t like this Spade dude. “Really cool dude. He’s bisexual but not to make it as an offense but he seems gayer than just bi.” I laughed lightly.

“Sounds like a cool dude.” I said, I was lying directly to her face but I couldn’t tell her I already hated her new friend. I don’t know if this guy has a thing for Everest and I didn’t want to find out. “Do you want to go to the drive-in theater tonight?” I asked her.

                “Sure, what’s playing?” She asked.

                “No idea.”

“Sounds like a great movie.” She said sarcastically but kissed the top of my head. “I never got to ask- how was recording today?” She asked me.

“It was amazing- I already love how the album is turning out.” I grinned. “We just started recording the song ‘Set the World on Fire.’ I love how the guitar riffs sound and it’s such a great song. Although we have much more of this album to record.” I chuckled.

“I cannot wait to hear it.” I grinned, kissing his cheek. “Shall we go?” She asked me and I nodded, standing up and grabbing his keys, phone, and wallet off the coffee table. I took her hand and I opened the front door and walked ourselves down the stairs to my car.

I helped her into my car and I got on the other side. Hopefully that Spade dude won’t contact her. And if he does I hope Everest doesn’t pick up during our date. I needed him off her mind. I didn’t want her falling for him.

I drove and we chatted together till I pulled into a spot on the field. “Can we sit on the hood?” She asked. I normally hated sitting on the hood but I had to seem nice tonight after all this Spade shit. I don’t know what it was but Spade bothered me. A lot.

“Sure.” I smiled as I got out and jumped onto my hood, Everest slipping under my arm. She had a blanket from the back of my car under her arm. She put it over us and I heled her close, kissing her head. I saw the movie start rolling and I began to watch. I barely watched the movie though. Everest’s phone was lighting up with Spade’s contact but she wasn’t even looking at it.

When the black and white footage stopped and the big ‘The End’ showed up on the screen and the credits rolled in. It was not dark outside and Everest had fallen asleep. I lifted her off the hood and I sat her in her seat, making sure not to wake her. I put her phone in her purse which was already in the car.

I drove us home and I carried her bridal style into the house and I took her to our bedroom where I laid her on the bed. Surprisingly, she was pretty light so it didn’t hurt lifting her up the stairs. And I guess I had muscles.

I sat on my side of the bed and I kept thinking about this Spade. I couldn’t get him out of my mind. He bothered me so much! I had to talk to this dude. Something was off about him and I needed to figure out before something bad could happen.

What could happen is this guy from my local grocery store could steal my girlfriend who I have been dating for 6 months! Wait we’ve been dating for 6 months? That’s actually a long time for my relationships. It’s really hard to hold a relationship. I’m keeping a close watch on Everest and Spade despite working on an album.

                I can do better.

How about the three of us have lunch tomorrow?
