Chapter 21: Everest’s POV

“So were meeting Morgan?” I asked Kaitlyn as she brought over our coffee. She nodded as she handed me my coffee with a swirl of milk in the middle. Kaitlyn explained she was a bit tired of this morning and it probably had something to do with Danny. I knew she was happy Ashley was protecting her though.

She sat next to the one empty stool as she sipped her coffee as she looked at the door. It was weird that she invited me along. I mean we were close friends, so was Julia and I was not too surprised they she brought her with but- me?

I didn’t think she would want me to join her to meet this Morgan.

I held my coffee and I looked over at Kaitlyn who was scrolling through her phone. She had this weird light in her eyes that I couldn’t quite figure out. Julia passed a grin to her and they exchanged looks. Something’s up. But I’m not going to be nosey.

The door of the café opened slightly and I heard the ding of the door. Kaitlyn turned her head, sprinted out of her seat and grasped the girl in a hug at the entrance. “Morgan!” She said into her chest as he held her close while Julia and I sat there awkwardly, sipping our coffee.

“Want a hug?” Julia said to me.

“Right now I would like one.” I whispered to her as we watched them freak out and talk frantically to each other. We wrapped our arms around each other in a hug as we continued to watch them secretly. They walked over and Kaitlyn frowned at us. We put our hands to our sides.

“These are my best friends, Everest and Julia.” When Kaitlyn said my name, that same look went into Morgan’s eyes. Even Morgan knew something! Morgan smiled at both of us.

“I’ve heard about you two.” She grinned as she sat in the open chair. “You both sounded really cool when she talked about you.” She said as she thanked the waiter when she brought her black coffee over. She opened a sugar packet. “Julia your dating Ben from Asking, right?” She asked her and she nodded. Stirring the coffee, “I know you’re dating Andy.” She said to me and I blushed with a nod.

“Are you dating anyone?” I asked her. She nodded slightly but I could tell from her eyes something was wrong.

“Vic. Fuentes.” She sighed. “Pierce the Veil.” She said. Julia and I were close to choking on our coffees. “I’m ending it soon though.” My eyes widened. “It’s not working at all. I think he thinks it is though.” She rolled her eyes.

                “I’m sorry.” I said sympathetically.

“Its cool- It’s ending tonight when I get home.” She shrugged. “Anyways,” Turning to Kaitlyn. “So things with Danny are over?” She asked her and she nodded, sipping her coffee. “Ashley better be treating you good.”

“Oh he most certainly is- come on Everest, Julia. Let’s go to the park.” She said. Morgan nodded with a smile. Julia stood up without an answer. Something is up. We left the café and we walked down the street. The park was soon in sight.

We opened the gate and my eyes went straight to the slide. I saw Andy sitting at the top of the slide. Everyone else was sitting on the bench, watching. Andy slid down the yellow slide as I walked over. “Everest.” He said to me.

He fell to one knee, pulled out a black velvet box. I looked at the box as cupped it in his hands. “I really love you. I can’t explain it in words and I can’t draw it out, I can’t make a skit to show you how much I love you. It seems impossible.” He whispered.

                “Andy…”

“I love you, I need you with me through each step in my life and I want to be in every step of yours.” He opened the box slowly. “Everest Stone, I want to ask you to marry me. Make you my Ms. Biersack.” His eyes glowed more than the ring and his eyes were scared and terrified as he waited for my answer.

“You don’t say no to love. If you say no to love then there isn’t any sort of love.” I said to him. “But I am in love. I am in love so I can’t say no if it’s real.” My cheeks felt hot as I held out my small hand. The ring went down my finger and I smiled as it glistened in the light. But Andy’s gem blue eyes were prettier in the light than any ring.

His arms held me in an embrace as he grasped me in a kiss that held me down close to the ground. Swooping me off my feet. I wrapped my arms slowly around his neck as I deepened his kiss as I felt his tongue slowly go into my mouth.

“Can I yell get some?” Julia said awkwardly from behind. I could hear the other two laughing at her a bit as I let go of Andy’s lips. The park erupted with clapping of little kids, parents, elders, teenagers, anyone. I blushed deeply as I felt my cheeks go blood red but Andy kissed the color away.

Later that night, I was giving Andy the massage he asked for on our bed as we watched Bridget Jones Diary on Netflix. “I can feel your ring in my back and some reason I really like it.” Andy said as his face was in the pillow.

I got off his back as he sat up and I grabbed some hair ties. Andy stretched out his back and grinned at me. His smile faded as I grinned with two hair ties. “Not pig tails.” He whined as I put my hands in his long black hair and divided the hair into twos.

“Well.” I shrugged as I tied one off, soon the other. “You’re my pretty Andy Biersack fairy.” I said happily as I kissed his cheek and wrapped my arms around his neck loosely. “Can I be Mrs. Andy Biersack fairy?”
