Never-ending sounds of the world collapsing were all around them. She couldn't keep her eyes open at this point. She was justing coming back from passing out.

"You're gonna make it out of here,"

His words were running through her head, she needed it to be true. She pulled his shirt closer to her body, she swore she felt him hold on to her tighter. Memories of her life faded her mind.

"If you think seducing me will make me talk you're wasting your breath. I am not that kind of guy," He said turning away from her.

"They are all that kind of guy," She spoke and dropped the cup, causing it to break. She stood up and fixed her dress. "Are you trying to tell me that kissing people is something you don't do?"

"Only if I care about someone," he answered. Natasha let out a low chuckle

"I don't care if I die, but if I do, please know that this life is a lie, there is so much more to you," Steve said.

She couldn't breath, the dust in the air prevented her from even coughing. There were pieces of the once elegant house all around them, she could even see the small bit of sky.

Steve's body was still on top of her, but he was limp and no moving.
"Steve?" She called out to him pushing his body off of her own so she could see his current state. He was covered in the dust and was majorly bleeding all around. "Steve?" She placed her hand on his face.

"Did they really think this would work?" Natasha looked up to see Ivan standing there as if the building had not just collapsed. She was shocked and moved Steve to lie his head on her lap, her silk white outfit now tinted black and Steve's blood was staining most of it. "Get up."

"We can't leave him," She whispered.

"Natalia, I said get up this moment. I am not here to argue. The captain had it coming." He hissed, and Natasha looked down at Steve, his hair matted and covered in blood. She didn't know why but she couldn't just leave him there.

" he will die if we leave him here. He will bleed out to death." She tried to reason with him but Ivan was not faced, but he was angry. He walked over to her and grabbed her by the hair pulling her up and aiming a gun to her head.

"I have tried for so long to mold you into the perfect daughter. My perfect daughter and this is how you betray me?" He hissed, gripping her arm a little too tight.

"You are not my father and I am not your daughter." She hissed. "You took me! From my home! You killed my mother!"

"I did nothing of the sort. I saved you and your pathetic mother from having to spend another minute with the idiot Fury." Ivan said. "I raised you as my own you should be thanking me!"

"I will never thank you." She hissed. "You're a monster."

"I am your father. I am your only family"

"No, you are not! You killed my family!" She screamed, the sound of people running toward her finally come to her ears. She sighed in relief.

"Let her go, Ivan." Natasha looked up to see a group of men she had never seen before standing beside Clint, one of them ran over to Steve checking to make sure he was alive, Natasha knew he was when the man sighed in relief. Steve's body was also beginning to move and his eyes opening up. Ivan's men began surrounding them holding guns to their heads.

"You chose the wrong side boy," Ivan said. "Now why don't you run home and tell you idiot commander that I have won. I will always win."

"Why don't you tell her the complete truth?" Natasha saw that it was Steve who was speaking now. He was alive and struggling to stand, the biggest man helping him up.
