Erica's POV
I fight. That's what I'm known for. Always fighting back. But I couldn't, not now, not against him. The one person I trusted, dare I say loved. Now he's standing gun to my head in a locked room about to pull the trigger. There's nothing I can do. No where I can run and there's no point trying to disarm him, I'm the one who taught him to hold a gun a way no one could take it.
It can't be true. He couldn't have gone to the dark side. I know him, he's too good.
"Any last words?" He said
"Just one question," I say. Before waiting for an answer I ask, "Why?"
"Why what?" He asks sounding impatient.
"Why did you switch. This isn't like you, you would never betray your friends."
He doesn't reply. For a second I think I see the real him in his eyes. The boy I attacked on his first day of spy school, the boy who I went on my first mission with, the boy who broke down my walls, the boy I fell in love with.
I knew there had to be a reason. He wouldn't just switch. But yet there was no answer from him.
"Ben please," I whimpered "I love You."
"I'm sorry Erica".
It went black.
