New faces

I walked out of my room and started walking around the institute, it seemed smaller than last time but then again I've been in Idris so it's a bit bigger than the institute. I turned a corner to be met with a chest. I almost fell but a hand grabbed my arm to prevent me from meeting the floor.

"Hey you ok?" A British accent asked. I looked up and was about to have a go but those thoughts went flying out of the window as I was met with a pair of green eyes. Once I realised I was staring I got out of his hold  straightening my clothes and hair.

"Uh yeah sorry I wasnt looking where I was going" I excused myself and walked past him to the training room. I entered to see my Jace with a red headed girl. Me being me I sneaked up behind him and jumped on him tackling him to the ground. He tried to turn the tables but I had him pinned down good. He eventually gave up and we started laughing, this was a thing we would do I missed this.

"You're a bit rusy J" I helped him up

"I let you win"

"Yeah right I was always better than you" he huffed at my comment and turned to the girl who I completely forgot about to be honest. She stood protectively at his side and tried hard not to show her jealousy.

"I'm Clary Fairchild Jaces girlfriend and who are you" I tried not laugh at how jealous she was.

"Ah Valentines kid, I'm Y/n his sister and if he does anything come to me and I'll kick his ass " she looked a bit embarrassed as she wasnt what I thought I was but then chuckled a bit at my last comment. I gave a warning look towards my brother that says 'you hurt her your dead. Let's just say he gets quite scared of me sometimes.
We exited the training room and was met with Alec, Izzy and a warlock.

"So any ideas on how to get the cups location from Valentine?" He asks, his arsey attitude is gonna follow soon.

"Uh nothing yet but I doubt it's in any of his hideouts so we can cross those places off the list" Jace answered.

"Just the entire world to go" Alec snaps. The warlock then puts his hand on Alecs shoulder.

"Completely off topic but who are you?" I ask the downworlder.

"I'm Magnus Bane high warlock of Brooklyn"

"Are you 2 a thing?" 

"Yes we are"

"Aawwwww your cute together"

"Well now that's sorted can we get back to the task at hand" Alec interrupted.

"Yes grumpy Lightwood" everyone held in their laughter except for a snicker from the doorway. I looked to see the person who I bumped into earlier, I quickly looked away and put my Alec on (focused only on the mission/task no fun or humor.

Time skip cause I'm lazy 

I heard a knock at my door snapping me from thoughts. I opened the door to see Izzy with a smile on her face. "Izzy come on in, please forgive the mess as laziness took over my body" she laughed a little and entered my room. I cleared my bed off and we both sat on the edge.

"I meant to ask earlier are you ok you dont seem well" she took a breath before answering.

"Uh not really but I will be soon, I'm recovering from my Yin Fen addiction" she looked away as she said that. For Izzy to do that things must have been bad recently.

"Oh Iz, well thank the angel your ok" I brought her in for a hug and she returned it.

"Well I got help from Sebastian he found me after I was on a demon hunt and helped me get over the worst part"

"I dont believe I've met him yet, I really should thank him for his help" I was grateful cause without Izzy I would never be the same she is my best friend, parabatai and is one of the main parts of my world.

"Shall we go find him and get you introduced" I nodded and we went off on a Sebastian hunt. We didn't get far before someone else almost ran into us.

"Oh god Izzy I'm sorry have you seen Clary I need to speak to her now" wow another downworlder, how many people am I going to meet today.

"Its ok Simon have you checked the library she might be in there"

"I'll go check, thanks and bye to you new person" he waved as he ran off.

"I'm not going to ask right now" I said. We walked until we entered the gardens and I saw that dude from earlier. Why do I have to keep seeing him??? Izzy then started to approach him, please say he isn't the person we spent half an hour looking for.

"Hey Sebastian we were just looking for you, have you met Y/n?" Shit why does it have to be him. He looked my way and Izzy seemed to catch on we may have had a run in.

"Have you 2 met already?"

"No"  "Yes" we said at the same time. Izzy could sense the awkward tension growing and walked the both of us back to her room after saying bye to Sebastian. We entered and the moment the door closed...

"What the hell was that?" She interrogated.

"W-what was what?" Shit I stuttered

"You were all awkward like you were a couple that broke up? Do you know each other?"

"I swear on our parabatai bond I just met him today, we bumped into each other and I walked off then I saw him after he snikered at my joke to Alec that's all I swear" i explained. Izzy took in the information and gave me a smirk. I know that smirk and I've only ever seen her use it against her brother and Jace, it never ended well after that.

"Why did you walk off cause you would've had a go at him and you never back down" she knows me too well.

"Maybe I stared at him cause I thought he was cute" I confessed. She squealed with excitement as this has never happened before. God I'm I  so much trouble.
