Let Me In

The Plan

In the morning my leg felt much better that I could walk on it but meant that Jace wouldn't let me out on a hunt today or any other day without him. I made it to the main room, they were talking about Valentine again. I listened to them talk and tbh by the way things are going they aren't gonna be getting anywhere.

"Why dont I try to talk to him?" I questioned.

"He wont talk to anyone except Clary and last time that happened didnt go so well" I got an idea but it wasnt a good one.

"Maybe I could glamour myself as Clary or she glamours herself as me"

"That might work actually" Alec was onboard with the idea, Izzy had doubts but still thought it was worth the try and Jace wouldn't have any of it.

"I'm not putting one of my favourite girls at risk plus if he knows were siblings he could hurt one of us through the other, I'm not willing to take that risk"

"Jace he doesn't know me i could fake a circle rune and try to get in maybe have Clary 'turn' over to his side, seeing her father get tortured wont be easy for her" Jace sighed as he knew this would be happening. He walked off with Clary following, she would try to convince him but he wont give in that easily.

"I get he's my brother but every little thing, he acts like its gonna kill me, honestly" I started ranting to Izzy when we got to my room.

"Well the things you do are dangerous sometimes but I do agree with you"

"I mean Valentine is chained to a wall he wont snap my neck, if anything I'd snap his if his mouth starts going"

"So how is this going to work then?" Now tbh I'm not that sure but I have an idea. I was about to start explaining when there was a knock on my door.

"If I like you come in if not go away" the person wasnt sure so they popped their head round the door. I motioned him to come in.

"Sebastian what an honour for you to grace us with your presence" we laughed. He looked over at me and started speaking.

"I overheard you had a plan to get Valentine to talk and I just wanted to maybe contribute and be of use" I looked at Izzy and we 'talked' it over before allowing the Englishman to join our chat.

"So as I was going to say before I was rudely interrupted" looking over at the blonde who mouthed a sorry "I was thinking of going undercover as Clary and maybe have her in some parts where needed, he trusts her and is the only child he has so why not use his one weakness against him"

"So like a double agent?"

"Yes and of course we'll need to plan things out, make sure he succeeds with the least amount of damage and delay him when and if need be" we thought about it but still felt too planned out and set up. And after what Izzy said about last time Clary talked with him she was quite harsh and clear she wants him dead.

"Y/n why not just you go as you with a fake circle rune or without and the excuse be to blend in with the other shadowhunters" Izzy was quite certain about this. That seemed much better but we need Alecs permission and the Clave so things can be set up without a catastrophe.

We found Alec in his office, we explained to him the parts that we had and came up with a proper plan. He would meet with the Clave and see if this would be allowed but I was going through with it either way.

2 days later

I was bored and getting very impatient, how long does it take to make a decision. I was training with Clary when Jace, Izzy and Alec came in with news.

"So what's their answer?"
