Joes PoV
Dianne had been asleep a few hours after she came round from the surgery. No wonder she had been asleep so long she must be exhausted with what she went through this morning, I can't imagine the pain she was in.
I was sat scrolling through instagram for a while waiting for dianne to wake up. When I heard a small croaky voice come from her direction "joe?" She said slightly confused.
J: it's ok babe you don't have to talk if it hurts just give it a little longer
D: I-it's fine, m-my throats j-just a little sore t-that's all
J: if your sure babe
I can't believe I was hearing her beautiful voice again it felt like forever since I had heard her talk in reality it was just over like 2 months. But I was just so emotional I let a little tear slip from my eye and her face dropped
D: I-is everything o-ok babe, h-have I d-done something w-wrong
J: no darling I'm fine I'm just so happy to hear your voice again
D: o-ok as long as y-your not u-upset
J: why would I be
This is a really short chapter but I am going to be writing a few chapters in the next few days so hopefully there will be regular uploads from now on. I would also like to have your input into this story so I know what you like so please comment what you want to happen next in this book
