The wait for something to happen has become almost unbearable. I begin to talk with my friend. "So, how'd it feel?" I asked. "Guilting, but the aftermath was... good." He replied. I replied with: "What do you think is going to happen next? Do you want another friend, or what?" "Jesus, you're rather cold about it." "Well, do you?" "Slightly, yes." "Well, let's go, then!" "No, not yet. I don't feel like doing it, yet." "What do you mean? Don't you want to grant another person immortality?" "Yes, I do, but, I mean, we're also robbing them of their family, and food, and drink, and all of that!" "Yes, but they're immortal, and cannot die." "That's no excuse for murdering them!" "We could... go to a kids birthday party, and give the children candy?" "And have them all be piñatas? That's cruel!" "Well, you appear to create different types." "What do you mean?" "Well, I create horse-like animals, and you create fish." "I didn't mean for it to happen like that." "Well, it just did. Ok? It just turns out different with each person. Like genetics." "Piñata genetics?" He paused, before realizing he couldn't laugh. "Ah, yes. No lungs." "Look, let's go get a bunch of candy, and put it into a kids birthday." "Alright, but if we get caught..." We proceeded to leave the room, head down the stairs, over to the other persons yard, where we had made the other piñata, and grabbed a bunch of the candy, and put it in a bowl. It was an experiment, of sorts. "Are you sure about this?" He asked. "No." I replied. We headed over, to a nearby house, which had a bunch of kids. We snuck into the back, near a bunch of food, and placed the bowl of candy. We then got back over the fence, and back into our house, to watch. We watched, as several children froze, and turned into various piñatas. The parents were too drunk to realize, and the children ran away. Running, running. Throughout the city. Who knows what would happen next? Maybe it would spread quicker. Around 20 more people were piñatas. 20 people, new lines of piñata. Who knows, it might become an actual problem. Or will it? They're practically immortal, so it's not like they'll suffer. Their eyes were some white, some black, some with pupils. They all had odd mixes of fins, feet, and more. Some were sharks, some horses, some seahorses. They were all colorful, just like us. Soon, they'd spread throughout the city, and share their candy.
