That feeling

I head outside, to the yard. I spread out my flesh, and sit for a while. I still feel lethargic, and I kind of lay down. My skin is lightly sticky, and I lay down, to rest. Finally, the first resting moment in quite a while. I lay, whilst I await for something. I can feel a few light bumps throughout my body, slowly extending outwards. They are able to be moved, as they are the same consistency as my legs. 8 in total. I am now around 8 feet across at my maximum length, and at my maximum height, I am 6 foot tall. I lay, around 2 foot tall in total, until something happens. I still wait. Waiting for something. I attempt to move towards the fence, and do so. The fence nearly collapses, and I collapse off of it, on the same side. I decide against going to another yard, for now, and continue to relax. I wait, and eventually get back up. I crawl over the fence, where a child managed to get. They freeze, and my limbs carry me over to them, yet again. They pummel them, and, eventually, their stomach bursts, revealing candy, which falls out of them. I prepare to move on, sustained once again. I re-enter the house, sustained. My friends walk around, myself being unable to understand them. I wait, for something to happen, once again. Eventually, I see, out of the corner of my eye, my vision expanding yet further. To the back of my head, until I can see everything around me, with my brand new two eyes. It's like if you had looping vision, it's hard to describe. I can see in all directions. It is confusing, but normal enough, oddly. I look out the window, or at least focus my vision on it. A small child roams the streets. I consider heading out, but decide against it. I am, after all, getting used to my new body. I climb around my room, making a kind of clattering sound as I do so. I have small bumps on my skin which are really rough, so I move around quite easily, compared to before. My body feels squishy, like a toy. It is quite odd to be able to move this fast, after a week of having to jump forwards. I begin to climb the wall, and realize I cannot, as gravity is still a thing. I head outside, preparing to head to a separate house to make my shelter in. I will simply have to get rid of the current occupants, or find an abandoned house. Eureka! The house at the end of the street! Its owners moved out. I can probably scare away anyone else. I slither down the street, being incredibly careful to not alert anyone. I go in through a broken window, after clearing away the glass. I head inside, with the inside simply being incredibly dusty. The owners appear to have used so many pesticides over the years the entire house smells of them, so insects don't dare come inside. It is toxic to breathing things, but I do not breathe. I head inside, and begin clearing the dust, designating a chair to be my resting zone. I sit in it, a stool, which is around 3 feet in height, and 2 feet in width. I slither up, and take a short rest. During it, I hear a few gunshots from outside, much closer, now. I presume it is a gang fight, in the distance. No bullets hit nearby. I continue to rest. My eyes have no eyelids, but I kind of lose track of time. By the end of it, I have nothing more, except for my limbs having slightly hardened, in order to become better at hitting things. They still are just as good for mobility, it's just the joins now can lock. I wait for quite a long while, without anything happening. Eventually, the sun is rising once again.
