The Egg

I have come to a conclusion. Those who are in the first stage, as a piñata, are like eggs. The children are the surrogate wombs. The children let the creature gestate, whilst the children become like the creature. Me. I am the creature. I am the evolved form of humanity. It shall begin, soon. The metamorphosis of humanity, out of its sickly shell, into a great creature. One which is more dexterous than humanity, and more skilled. One that is quite more than humanity. In the morning, I head out to an area I know is safe. I do the typical luring, and I give the candy. I then take them back, swinging past things that could see me, until I get to the house. Then, the child becomes a piñata, like I was. An egg. The egg will then mutate, slightly, which is what I saw with the previous specimen, and then they will become near perfect. They will be fed by me until they hatch, when they will join up with the pack. I wait for them to finish turning, and as soon as they finish, I tell them of their fate. "You shall become like me, quite dexterous, with many limbs. You will shed the fur on your skin. You will become quite flexible, and will become like me. An octopus-like piñata. But you will have many, many limbs, and eyes, and ears. You will be able to see at all angles, and soon, you will see your first prey. I'll be off to get them. Don't go anywhere!" I lock the door, the room mean in quality, and only with a single chair in the middle, as well as a table. They aren't sure what to do, so I go outside. I head, and grab a smaller child, resisting the urge to include them on the experiment. I deposit them into the room, where they are promptly murdered by the other piñata. They burst out candy, the lifeblood of the lifeform and egg. The egg, however, cannot consume it. It is, after all, already nourished. I then await the egg to do something, talk, or change. Meanwhile, I feel another change coming on, so I retreat to the living room. This time, my limbs don't split, but rather, simply become more thick, with myself becoming incredibly tall, at almost 13 feet high, at tallest. My legs are preparing to split, after my height has grown, I hypothesize. I head back to the room, where the test subject has already began to soften. They lay on the table, unable and unwilling to move. They slowly have their plump limbs split, as they wait for it to be over. They appear panicked. They cannot speak, for now. Their head migrates, as mine once did, and the nose goes into the chest, whilst the eyes remain, all seeing. Their nose emerges on the bottom side of their body, where it then begins to sharpen, and then harden. Their legs split into two, forming 8 identical limbs. They try to move, but are too exhausted. I watch, waiting for what will happen next. Next, their eyes double, covering a reliable stretch of their head. Their beak has now hardened, and their limbs are now beginning to become rough. Their limbs gradually become more grated, and unsaturated. Their eyes recess mildly into their skull, and at the tip of each limb is a small flower. Of various types. They can now move well enough again, and I give them time to begin to hit the air. They do so quickly, which is when I consider them ready. "Are you ready to be released?" "Released? What do you mean? I feel great!" "Once you see what's outside of that wall, it'll be even better." "What is out there?" "I won't ruin the surprise."
