During the night, my head has migrated to the center of my body, and my limbs have had yet another doubling of joints. My underbelly seems soft, and I have slight protrusions out of my stomach, which can move fluidly, as if they had no bones. My fur has been coming in a light grey, as of late, and I am turning grey. My body is rounding out, with the new limbs coming out the outside of the circle. My bottom side has developed a hard protrusion, similar to a beak. I can do nothing but sit, for the next few days. My joints continue to double, until I might as well have no bones in my limbs at all. I slither across the ground, rapidly. My beak, on my bottom, is now permanently closed. I have two eyes on my top, revealing to me a large amount of the world. I can squirt a black ink when I choose to do so. I have lost a large amount of fur, leaving my skin gray, and barren. I might as well not have bones, now, as I can squeeze through most things. I wonder what will happen next. My eyes are large, white strips on the sides of my body. I have no nose, as it has melded into my flesh. The body is now closer to paper, and is quite flexible. I move across the ground, using tentacles to push and pull myself. It feels unnatural, but more natural than prancing ahead. I have 8 tentacles, like an octopus. They each are heavily padded, and move me around well enough for me to catch up with my piers, and overcome them. This is far more successful at locomotion than jumping ahead. I head outside, and a child approaches me. I uncoil to reveal a single piece of candy, which they take. Once they eat it, they freeze up, and begin to dissolve. Their flesh becomes loose, and their limbs split into two. They become like me, but without a beak. Also, they're more colorful, with multiple bright dots on them. They appear to be a sheet of fabric, with several tentacles stretching out and moving them. They also appear mute. Strange.
