Virgils POV
Everyone already went into the building, Blade and I were standing next to Roman's car while my anxiety was going down.
"Hey, I can walk with you to class, everything will be fine." Blade says
"Okay, everything will be fine." I say, we walk into the College Building together.
Flashback
It was my first day of school at Groven Middle school. I was so scared, I have been different from everyone in my old school. Sadly Riley was in the high school already, so I didn't have anyone. I knew I would get bullied, I had dyed purple hair, pushed over my face, I was wearing a black My Chemical Romance hoodie I bought for myself, and a green day shirt. I take a deep breath and walk into the building.
I look around for the office, I find it and go into the room, I see a nice looking lady at her desk.
"Hello, Virgil right?" She says with a kind sweet voice. She was wearing a black shirt, some blue Jean's, and her straight blonde hair was down.
"Um, yeah." I say nervously biting my black painted nails.
"Okay, I will take you to the gymnasium and introduce you to everyone." She says as she gets up. She leads me outside her room and down the hall. There was a sign that said Gym on the door. We walked in and there were so many students in there. I look around, I can feel my anxiety pick up. She leads me to a couple of bleachers. "This is where the 8th graders sit." She says to me. "Excuse me, this is Virgil can you make him feel welcomed." She says to a guy my age. Then she leaves.
The kids look at me and smile. "So Virgin, why do you have purple hair." One kid says.
"Um-" I say
"Oh my are you gay, why are your nails painted." Another says
I opened my mouth to speak but they interrupted me.
"Yo Virgin, why do you like that stupid band my fucking stupid romance, and green days." Another says.
Then they started to ask more questions and throw things as me, but I couldn't hear them, all I could do is sit there and hear my heart beat and shake.
"Um, where is the bathroom." I ask
"Down the hall." Someone says.
I take my bookbag and get up and run out of the gym. I couldn't do this, my dad hits me at home, my mom never talks to me, and now on the first day of school I am getting bullied.
I find the bathroom, thank God no one was in there. I take my stuff and go into the last stall. And close the door, I get my phone out and turn on some music. Then I text Riley.
Virgil - Hi
Remus/Riley - Hi is everything okay?
Virgil - Yeah um, I just wanted to make sure everything with you was okay.
Remus/Riley - Yup well I gtg ttyl.
I close my phone, well that didnt help my anxiety. I open the stall door and walk to my locker. I quickly take everything about put it into my locker and I see there is a note hanging up in my locker, it was a class list and room numbers.
Homeroom - 8:10/8:15 Room 13
Science - 8:25/9:00 Room 19
Social Studies- 9:05/9:40 Room 1
Math - 9:45/10:20 Room 8
ELA - 10:25/11:00 Room 25
PE - 11:05/11:35 Gym
Band/Study Hall - 11:40/12:20 Band Room
Lunch B - 12:25/12:55 Lunch Room
Biological- 1:00/1:30 Room 2
Study Hall - 1:35/2:15 Library
Homeroom - 2:20/2:30 Room 13
2:30 First Bell
2:35 Second Bell
2:40 Third Bell
I grab that, and head to class because I needed to talk to my teacher. I see a map too so I grab that and go to Homeroom.
After 3 minutes I found their room. Mx. Remo was their name. I walk in.
"Hello?" I say
"Hello Virgil come in, I am Mx. Remo or Mx. R. I go by both." They say
They were a tall masculine person. They had a small beard and they seemed so happy.
"Okay, um can you show me around the school?" I ask
"Ask you Science teacher and she will have someone show you around." They say
"Okay." I say
"Here is your seat." They say showing me to my seat.
I sit down and put my 3 binders, 2 notebooks, pencil bag, and sketchbook into the desk. After a few seconds go by a bell rings, I look at the time. 8:10.
A few minutes later everyone is in the classroom.
"Hello class, welcome to today, today will be amazing." He says.
"Sure it will Mr. Remo." Someone says. I look at Mx. Remo they seem to ignore them.
"Today we have a new student, Mr. may you stand up and tell us about yourself." They say looking at me.
I stand up. "Hello, I am V-Virgil Moorse." I say then sit back down. No one needed to know anything else about me. After a second of two people started talking and laughing.
A few minutes later in Flashback
"Hello Class, today we have a new student Virgil." The teacher says
I wave. "Someone needs to show him around the school." She says.
No one raises there hand. "John you can show Mr. Virgil around."
Someone stands up, he has short black hair, a yellow t-shirt on with a black jacket over it and some Jean's. He walks over to me.
"Hey I am John. I will be showing you around the school today." John says
I am so nervous to go to this new school. "Oh I am Virgil." I say
"Well Virgie let's get on with the tour." John says
I blush and we go on with the tour.
We walk out of the class room and into the halls.
"So this is the bathrooms." John says. "There is a rumor that someone died in this bathroom but it is probably false."
I think John could tell I was spooked because he came up to me, put is arm around me and whispered. "Nothing will hurt you on my watch.
End of Flashback
I finally feel stable enough to walk into the building. Blade puts his around around me and whispers "Dont forget, Nothing will hurt you on my watch." I feel myself blush.
We walk into the building and go to the gym to wait. Thankfully they gave us a tour of this place about a week ago so I didn't have to worry about not knowing where class rooms are.
