Chapter Twenty Three

T/W : Speaking with Ghosts, funeral, Suicide

Roman's POV

I get home from Virgils funeral, I cant believe with really happened he was really dead. I couldn't believe it.

It was 1 week after he was shot and my whole world was crazy. I wanted to talk with Virgil. As soon as I had a second I went to the store.

I drove to the mall and bought an Quija board. I also buy 4 candles then drove to the cemetery where Virgil was buried.

I walk to Virgil grave, I sit right next to him. Well 6 ft above him. I take out the board and placed it on the ground. I havent played with one of these so I was a bit scared. I lit the 4 candles and placed them around me.

I got the moving piece out and I place it on the board. I move it around 3 times then stop. "Hello, Would anyone like to speak to me?" I ask

I sit there then the moving piece started moving towards yes. "What is your name." V I R G I L, the ghost spells.

"How did you die?" S H O T

"Babe?" Yes

"I love you."  I L O V E  Y O U

"I miss you." S A M E

"Babe I have to go, goodbye." I say. I forget to move it to goodbye and I pack up my game and go.

I head back home with a weird feeling inside me. I missed Virgil so much I would do anything to be back with him.

When I get inside I put my stuff into my room and take a shower.

When I exit the shower I look at the fogged mirror. There was a heart with a R + V on with mirror. I smiled. I wrote ILY under the heart. Then a smiley face appeared.

2 days Later

I couldn't tell anyone about what was going on. Virgil has been giving me signs he was here. Like the other day I was taking a test and I was about to fill in C but then the pencil moved to A.

I was so excited to talk to V over the board again. I pulled the board out and began to play.

"R O M A N" I hear someone say

"Yes" i whisperer back.

"Wanna be with me forever?"

"Yes"

"Come join me."

I look at the board. This wasn't Virgil. I knew what this demon was asking, Virgil would never want me to kill myself. I said goodbye to the game then burned the board.

2 days Later

I miss Virgil, over the last few days Deceit and Remus got together and Patton and Logsn are fine. Everyone was fine without me.

I finally got to my destination. Where Virgil tried to kill himself, failed and remembered everything.

I climb up onto the building, I could only imagine Virgil laying there.

Once I get onto the building I stand there on the edge thinking. Was it really worth it? Did I really wanna be with Virgil this much. Yes I loved him with my heart. But I didnt think I want ready to die, not yet.

I tried getting down off the building, but my foot slipped, and I was failing, this was my time. "Goodbye." I say then everything went black.

1 day later.

Dear friends and family.

I love you all so much. I hope you all live well without me. I truly loved this world, but I think I loved Virgil more then this world. I shall be laid in peace next to Virgil.
I hope Patton and Logan get married and adopt a wonderful kid. Mom, I loved you I wish you never let go of me. But I think you really wish you didnt and that you just didnt know what to think.
