Chapter Sixteen

Roman's POV

Virgil and I are cuddling in my bed watching Beauty and The Beast because it's amazing.

"Babe?" Virgil says.

Hearing him class me babe for the first time in a long time made my heart leap.

"Can I sleep in here tonight, let's just say the only reason Blade slept in my room was because I was having nightmare." Virgil says look up at me.

"Yes love, you can slept in here as much as you want to." I say kissing in on the head.

Then we here a knock on the door. Virgil and I just look at eachother. Then we get up and go into the mud room and I open the door.

Virgils POV

"Hello I am officer Miller. I am looking for Blade Dun and Virgil Moorse." A police officer says.

"Um I'm Virgil, and Blade is down stairs, here come in." I say scared. What was going on.

"I will go get Blade." Roman says leaving my side.

Mr. Miller and I sit at the table, soon after Blade and Roman were at the table with us. Sadly Remus was out at a party and Logan and Patton were on a date.

"Virgil, we know who shot you and Mr. Keller." (I think that's the old principles name.)

"Who!" Roman says. "Ugh I what him too know how he screwed up our lives so badly!" Roman yells getting and and passing the floor.

See I was faster than Ro, I know who shoot me and I wish it wasnt true. I look at Blade and he was just smiling.

Blade starts clapping. "Finally you got it right." He says smiling and looking me dead in the eyes.

Roman punches him. I just sit there my head at the ground. The police man doesnt do anything. I look up and over to Blade and he has a big gash on his face. Roman stops and hugs me.

"Deceit Blade John, you are under arrest for manslaughter. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court." The officer says.

I look down. "You lier your name what!" Roman says. "Virgil did you know?"

I did know his real name. He told me one day when he was drunk. "No." I say

The office handcuffs Deceit and takes him to his car. Then soon after he comes back in.

"Um, so do you want to sue him for trying to kill you?" He says, deceit's family was hella rich maybe we could move out of this town it is nothing but sadness and bad memories.

"Yes." I say.

"Come to the court house tomorrow, we will settle this all tomorrow." Mr. Miller says the leaves.

I get up and hug Roman. "Why did he shoot me!" I yell.

Then Patton and Logan come in. "Is everything okay?" Patton says while running to us.

"We came home and seen the police car pull away." Logan says then he sees I was crying.

"Blade, Deceit he shot me." I say.

All goes silent then Patton and Logan hug me.

"I'm so sorry." Patton says.

"Wait Deceit?" Logan says?

"His real name was Deceit Blade John." I say.

"Shit!" Logan and Patton say at the same time.

"What?" Roman says.

"Let's sit down." Logan says.

We all sit at the table. "Deceit, he and I used to date. But he got really aggressive and everything became Toxic between us. But Logan helped me see the good stuff and helped me though it. Then Deceit left schools and a year or so later Roman came to school." Patton says hugging Logan.

"Oh." I say.

Everything was making sence.

Later that night

'Deceit was all about me after I got shot, he didnt want me to think it was him. And when I came to live in College City he was all about helping me because he wanted to do what he did to Patton with me. He wanted me to hurt myself. That's why every time something bad happened to me he was always there to 'help' he get through it. Why did I ever trust him!' I think to myself before going to bed in Roman's arms.
